Hot Toys announced its latest Tony Stark collectible figure equipped with the Mark V suit from Iron Man 2 -- so fans can recreate Stark's suit-up moment to battle Whiplash.
Distributed by Slideshow Collectibles, Hot Toy's Tony Stark (Mark V Suit Up Version) Deluxe Collectible Figure presents the Avenger from Iron Man 2 at sixth scale. Modeled after Robert Downey Jr.'s likeness, the figure comes with a hand-painted battle-damaged head, a movie-accurate blue racing tracksuit, a figure stand and an articulated briefcase. The figure's armor is attachable over the tracksuit and also features a LED light-up function on the arc reactor.
Hot Toy's Tony Stark stands at 12.2" tall and allows fans to break out Stark's briefcase suit whenever needed. The collectible is part of "Hot Toy's Movie Masterpiece Series," and is modeled from the battle scene in Iron Man 2 when Whiplash attacked Stark at Monaco's race circuit. "The movie-accurate figure is finely crafted based on Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the movie, features a newly developed Tony Stark head sculpt with specially applied battle-damaged effects," stated Sideshow.
The Tony Stark (Mark V Suit Up Version) Deluxe Collectible figure isn't the only Iron Man collectible that Hot Toys has in the works. Scheduled to release in mid-to-late 2022, the company recently unveiled "The Origins Collection" which includes two Iron Man figures based on original Marvel Comics designs.
The latest Tony Stark figure is currently available for pre-order for the retail price of $405 is scheduled to ship between July and September 2022.
