Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown and the rest of Charles M. Schultz's Peanut gang are back in Apple TV+'s official trailer for The Snoopy Show.
The trailer opens with a shot of puppy Snoopy being approached by Charlie Brown for the first time, who offers the puppy a dog treat. This causes Snoopy to jump into his new owner's arms, with Charlie Brown optimistically proclaiming, "We're going to be best friends."
From there, The Snoopy Show delves into a number of Snoopy's animated hijinks, both classic and updated. In some cases, it's driving a motorbike into Charlie Brown's house to claim ownership of the bean bag chair or playing football with Woodstock. Other scenes demonstrate the iconic beagle's imagination in action, from dodging the Red Baron's attacks in his World War I Flying Ace costume (that are just frisbees being tossed by Peppermint Patty) to jumping into an oasis that happens to actually be Rerun's sandbox. The trailer's back half gets even more adventurous, featuring antics like baking a cake, swimming underwater and dancing with the other Peanuts characters as they perform their iconic dance moves.
Apple TV+'s synopsis for The Snoopy Show describes it as "an animated series for kids of all ages that stars the internationally beloved beagle and his feathered best friend Woodstock as they tackle all-new adventures. Snoopy may seem like just a happy-dancin’, bone-lovin’, doghouse-sittin’ pup, but he’s much more than that. He’s Joe Cool: hippest kid in school. He's surfer king and famed arm-wrestler Masked Marvel. He's World War I Flying Ace who battles the Red Baron. All of his bold, beloved personas are on full display in this brand-new animated comedy."
Each episode of the show "will consist of three, seven-minute cartoons based on the iconic comic series" and be aimed at both parents and children aged 4-11 years old. The Snoopy Show will air on Apple's streaming service alongside previous original Peanuts/ WildBrain exclusive programs like the Daytime Emmy Award-winner Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10 and Daytime Emmy Award-nominated Snoopy in Space, which are both now streaming globally on Apple TV+.
The Snoopy Show stars Ethan Pugiotto, Terry McGurrin, Rob Tinkler, Wyatt White, Isabella Leo, Hattie Kragten, Isis Moore and Holly Gorski and Jonathan Philip Martin. The series premieres Feb. 5 on Apple TV +."
