Harley Quinn Showrunner Teases a Season 3 Outfit That Will 'Break the Internet'

DC's Harley Quinn rocked numerous outfits throughout the first two seasons of her eponymous animated series. However, according to co-showrunner Patrick Schumacker, one of her outfits from the upcoming Season 3 has the potential to "break the internet."

"I just saw a [Shane Glines] design for Season 3 of [Harley Quinn] with Harley in a red carpet gown and it would break the Internet if I shared it," Schumacker wrote on Twitter. But I can't. Which is killing me. And now you all must feel my pain!"

Harley is certainly no stranger to formal wear, having worn an on-brand red and black dress in the Season 2 episode "Dye Hard," as well as a bridesmaid dress in Season 2's finale, "Something Borrowed, Something Green." According to Schumacker, however, it looks as though the former Harleen Quinzel will add a new, even more eye-catching dress to her wardrobe in Season 3.

Harley Quinn premiered its first season on the DC Universe streaming service on Nov. 29, 2019, with Season 2 arriving on April 3, 2020. Following Season 2's conclusion on June 26, the entire series was made available on HBO Max in August. Still, the show's future remained up in the air until the following month, when it was announced that -- amid the restructuring of DC Universe -- HBO Max had picked up Harley Quinn for a third season, with the show becoming exclusive to the platform. It was just a few days ago that Schumacker confirmed that the voice recording process for Season 3 had begun.
