The CW has released a new poster of Jared Padalecki for its new drama series, Walker.
The poster puts Padalecki's Cordell Walker front and center, and is the latest promotional image to spotlight the titular star.
Walker serves as a reboot to the 1993–2001 television series Walker, Texas Ranger. It stars Padalecki as Cordell Walker, a Texas Ranger, widower and father of two who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years. However, he quickly learns that there is more work to be done at home than he initially anticipated.
Walker is currently on a brief hiatus, but returns on March 11 with Season 1, Episode 6, "Bar None." The synopsis for the episode is below:
MICKI’S MOTHER DROPS IN FOR A VISIT – When Geri (guest star Odette Annable) decides to sell the bar, it throws Walker (Jared Padalecki) for a loop. With so many memories attached to the bar, he asks Geri to reconsider and reminds her of all the good times they’ve had there with Emily (guest star Genevieve Padalecki) and Hoyt (guest star Matt Barr). Meanwhile, Micki (Lindsey Morgan) is shocked when her mother (guest star Alex Meneses) drops in unexpectedly. The episode was written by Casey Fisher & Paula Sabbaga and directed by Amyn Kaderali (#106).
Walker stars Jared Padalecki, Lindsey Morgan, Keegan Allen, Mitch Pileggi, Molly Hagan and Coby Bell. New episodes air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
