One Piece is finally entering its endgame and as expected, the story is starting to move towards the Final Island, Laugh Tale, where the famed One Piece is located. The last few arcs are guaranteed to raise the stakes while putting the lives of several characters in harm's way.
Although Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, doesn't like to kill off his characters, it is possible that quite a few will end up dying before Luffy's journey comes to an end.
10 Kin'emon – He Wants To Die As A Proud Samurai Of Kozuki Oden
Kin'emon is one of Kozuki Oden's 9 loyal retainers, the former Daimyo of Wano Country's Kuri region. After Oden's execution, Kin'emon took it upon himself to see his dream fulfilled, wanting to defeat Kaido and Orochi to free Wano. On the night of the Fire Festival, Kin'emon was defeated by Kaido and was put in a near-death state. His chances of dying before the end of the arc are quite high.
9 Sabo – His Fate Remains Unknown
Sabo is Luffy's elder brother and was introduced in the story after the Marineford arc, although he was thought to have died. Reintroduced in Dressrosa, Sabo has vowed to protect Luffy at all costs. However, his clash with the Admirals of the Navyat the Reverie doesn't seem to have gone so well. It was recently revealed that something terrible happened to Sabo and while his death hasn't been confirmed yet, his chances of having died are quite decent.
8 Kaido – He Wants To Die A Death Similar To Whitebeard And Gol D. Roger
Kaido is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea and the main antagonist of the Wano Country arc right now. He's the strongest person alive in the One Piece world, but has an obsession with dying a death that will immortalize him. Since Kaido is the main enemy of the Wano Country arc, it is highly likely that he'll eventually die towards the end of the arc.
7 Big Mom – She Joined Forces With Kaido
Just like Kaido, Big Mom is also one of the Four Emperors of the Sea. Currently, she's in Wano Country and has joined forces with Kaido to take over the entire world.
Big Mom is fighting against the Worst Generation right now and although her chances of dying aren't as high as Kaido's, they exist nonetheless – especially since she's in Luffy's path.
6 Kuzan – He's Dealing With The Blackbeard Pirates
Kuzan is a former Navy Admiral who has recently joined forces with the Blackbeard Pirates. Knowing his viewpoint of justice, Kuzan won't stay with the Blackbeard Pirates and would rather try to gain intel on them somehow. However, this is quite a dangerous task. What's more, he has a very powerful Logia-type Devil Fruit that Blackbeard could want.
5 Gecko Moria – He Was Offered An Ultimatum
Moria is a former Shichibukai who was last seen during the intermission between Wano Country's first and second acts. Moria traveled to Hachinosu Island to retrieve his comrade, Absalom. It was later revealed that Absalom was murdered by the Blackbeard Pirates and while Moria's fate wasn't decided right there and then, he was offered an ultimatum which, if he refuses, could see him die.
4 Nefertari Cobra – The World Government Are Wary Of Him
Nefertari Cobra is the King of the Alabasta Kingdom. He played a massive role in the Alabasta arc of the story and was also recently seen in the Reverie arc. Interestingly, he posed some questions related to the Poneglyphs which seemed to irritate the Gorosei.
Cobra is in great danger and the aftermath of the Reverie seems to imply that he has already died.
3 Blackbeard – He's The Main Antagonist And Luffy's Biggest Enemy
Blackbeard is one of the current Four Emperors of the New World in One Piece and the biggest villain in the entire series. He is the man who murdered Thatch, captured Ace, and triggered the Paramount War. Luffy absolutely despises Blackbeard and when the two clash in the future, the Straw Hat pirate won't go easy on him. Whether Luffy will kill him or not remains to be seen, but Blackbeard's days are numbered.
2 Trafalgar Law – He Has The Power Of The Ultimate Devil Fruit, The Ope Ope No Mi
Law is a member of the Worst Generation and Luffy's ally at the moment. He is quite powerful and is currently helping Monkey D. Luffy take down the Yonko Kaido. While Law can make a great name for himself in the future, he could possibly end up dying as well. His death was heavily foreshadowed during the Dressrosa arc as he wields the Ope Ope no Mi, which can grant immortality to anyone at the cost of the user's life.
1 Sakazuki – His Way Of Justice Is Too Harsh And He Killed Ace
Sakazuki is the current Fleet Admiral of the Navy and, as a result, the Navy have become more extreme under his reign. Sakazuki believes in Absolute Justice; a system that cannot be left standing when the series ends. As such, he likely won't be in power come the end of the story and will fall before that. The fact that he killed Ace only adds more credibility to the idea that he could die before One Piece ends.
