Zack Snyder unveiled a new image of the Batombile from his upcoming cut of Justice League.
The photo, posted to Snyder's Vero account, shows Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) and Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons) having a discussion while standing beside the Batmobile. This appears to come from one of the many scenes that Snyder shot for Justice League prior to leaving the project in 2017.
For years, Snyder built hype for the release of his Justice League cut by posting black-and-white photos from the film similar to this one, prior to the project's official announcement in May 2020. Snyder has continued to post black-and-white images from the movie since then, providing a sneak peek at the film's original visual style, along with characters (such as Willem Dafoe's Vulko) who were dropped entirely for Justice League's theatrical edition.
More recently, HBO Max released a full-length trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League primarily composed of footage that was either reshot or deleted for the film's 2017 theatrical release. The trailer also included clips of the super-villains Darkseid, DeSaad and Granny Goodness, in addition to footage from a scene that continues the Knightmare vision/dream sequence from 2016's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, pitting Affleck's Batman and Ray Fisher's Cyborg against Jared Leto's Joker from 2016's Suicide Squad.
In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.
Zack Snyder's Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ray Porter as Darkseid, CiarĂ¡n Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The film arrives on HBO Max March 18.
