The military forces in Attack on Titan are divided into three divisions, of which the Scout Regiment has proven to be the most useful in combat situations. At first it was led by Erwin, then it is later passed on to Hange Zoë when the former is killed by the Beast Titan. The Scout Regiment is known as "the hope of humanity", although most people consider them to be freeloaders.
Eren and his friends (most of them) choose to serve under them — including Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Historia, among others. Of the numerous Titan battles that the Scout Regiment has been involved in, which of its members, current or otherwise, can boast of the biggest kill-count? Both Titan and human deaths are considered, with the first receiving more weightage.
10 Jean Kirschtein Has Killed 1 Titan (& 2 Humans)
Originally playing the foil to Eren's over-enthusiastic "suicidal mania", Jean grows into a mature adult over time. In spite of his tendency towards blowing his top for no reason, he has shown that he can be an excellent leader at the same time.
For a man who had always wanted the cushy life of the Military Police, Jean's transformation is rather inspiring. In the course of his duty, he kills one Titan, as well as two people.
9 Queen Historia Reiss Is Known For 2 Titan Kills (Technically)
The present Queen of the Walls, Historia Reiss is quite skilled with her ODM gear, given her class ranking, but she doesn't quite involve herself in combat all that often. She manages to kill one Titan with Ymir's help before they can escape to safety.
Much later, though, she succeeds in ending her father, Rod Reiss's life when he attacks in his massive Titan form. Since Historia kills the man just before he separates from his Titan-nape, it counts as a second Titan kill.
8 Conny Springer Has 1 Titan (But 12 Human) Kills
Conny Springer is one of the best in his year, and his aim has always been to show his new talents off to his family. This, unfortunately, does not come to pass, because his entire village is converted into Titans.
Although Conny is usually considered to be among the dimmest of the group, his speed is such that he almost never has to actually involve himself in a real fight. He has, however, scored one Titan kill, as well as murdering twelve people across the anime and the manga storylines.
7 Miche Zacharius Has Killed 7 Titans
Section-Commander Miche Zacharius is generally believed to be the most powerful fighter in the Scout Regiment, following Captain Levi, of course. His ODM skills, along with his unbelievably sharp olfactory sense, help him achieve his impressive stats.
The seven Titans he has slaughtered on-screen might pale in comparison to the real number, though, since Zacharius has been in the game for much longer than the others. Sadly, he is himself murdered upon encountering the Beast Titan, who takes his gear and orders nearby Titans to devour him.
6 Ymir Has Killed At Least 6 Titans (And 2 Humans)
Ymir, before she becomes a Titan, is an innocent girl trapped by a Marleyan cult, who consequently betray her to save their own necks. She eats Marcel Galliard, one of the Warriors of Marley, which is how she inherits the Jaw Titan.
In this form, she saves the lives of Historia and the others who are trapped on a tower, massacring around six Titans, at the very least. Ymir has also murdered a Garrison Regiment member, not to mention helping Historia as stated earlier.
5 Commander Hange Zoë Has Killed 5 Titans (Along With 10 People)
Hange Zoë usually prefers the academic atmosphere of the research lab, where they study Titan biology and behavior (although their reactions towards their subjects can be argued as slightly unprofessional, and extremely dramatic.)
With a minimum of five Titan-kills under their belt, Zoë has actually murdered twice as many people — including Anti-Personnel Control Squad members and the Yeagerists (a new and violent faction that has developed the manga.)
4 Mikasa Ackerman Has Killed 16 Titans (And 5 Humans)
Mikasa Ackerman is no doubt going to become one of the greatest Titan-killers of all time: she already eclipses nearly everyone in the Scout Regiment, senior officers included. Her agility and tactical intelligence are only surpassed by her indomitable will.
Mikasa's sixteen kills are performed in the most extraordinary manner, simultaneously stunning observers and obtaining their adulation. She has been responsible for five human deaths, four of whom are from the Anti-Personnel Control Squad.
3 Eren Yeager Has A Titan Kill Count Of 23 (And A Lot More People)
The protagonist turned antihero of the story, Eren Yeager, has killed just one Titan in human form, but a massive 23 in total — excluding the vicious murder of the Smiling Titan with the voice of the Founder. Considering how much he hates the Titans, it's no surprise that Eren wants to murder them every chance he gets.
More importantly, he has recently begun planning his own agenda, without consulting anyone from the Scout Regiment (or the military in general). When it comes to people, however, Eren has caused immeasurable death and destruction, especially when he transforms into the Attack Titan in Marley.
2 Captain Levi Ackerman Boasts Of 58+ Titan Kills (And More Than A Dozen People)
Known as "humanity's strongest soldier", Levi Ackerman's strength relies on a combination of three factors: his diminutive size, which allows him to move ridiculously fast; his thirst for slaughtering Titans, rivaling that of Eren; and his overwhelming, yet intricate, style of swordsmanship.
Captain Levi's record of Titan kills (58+) is yet to be beaten by any human, and he has killed more than a dozen people during the course of the story.
1 The Armored & Colossal Titans — Countless Titan Human Deaths
Reiner Braun has killed one Titan as a member of the Scout Regiment, a number that is vastly magnified in terms of human deaths (as the Armored Titan.) Bertolt Hoover, like his friend, has killed a single Titan, but has most certainly been directly responsible for the deaths of countless people as the Colossal Titan.
Interestingly, Armin Arlert, who obtains the Colossal Titan, hasn't killed a single Titan, but the deaths of far too many human beings weigh heavily on his conscience. Not to mention the accidental Titan deaths caused every time he transforms.
