Justice League: Steppenwolf Battles Atlanteans in Snyder Cut Promo

A newly released clip from Zack Snyder's Justice League featured an underwater battle between the Atlanteans and Apokoliptian army general Steppenwolf.

The Justice League clip was shared on Reddit and opened with Steppenwolf charging at an Atlantean soldier before showing Arthur Curry/Aquaman goes toe-to-toe with the villain. "2/3. Unite the mother boxes. #Snydercut," read the caption at the clip's end.

Zack Snyder's upcoming cut will feature his vision for Steppenwolf -- a bulkier and intimidating presence than the character shown in the Joss Whedon-helmed theatrical release. Justice League concept artist Jerad S. Marantz recently shared an early design for Steppenwolf on his Instagram. "It took quite a bit of time to figure out how to do the armor for [Steppenwolf] on [Zack Snyder's Justice League]," Marantz stated.

Unlike 2017's Justice League, Zack Snyder's cut will include DC Comics villains Darkseid and DeSaad. Several characters cut from the 2017 theatrical release will also appear in Zack Snyder's Justice League, including Ryan Choi/Atom and Martian Manhunter.
