Supergirl Star Hypes Season 6 Premiere With Martian Manhunter Artwork

Supergirl's Season 6 premiere episode debuts in two days. In celebration of the show's final season debut, series star Nicole Maines (Dreamer) shared artwork featuring some of  Supergirl's iconic allies -- Martian Manhunter and Miss Martian

Maines' art was shared on her Twitter to hype fans for Supergirl's upcoming episode. Her illustration shows Martian Manhunter and Miss Martian flying in front of Supergirl's logo.

"They don’t just survive, they thrive," Maines tweeted above her work. She added, "[Supergirl] returns in just TWO DAYS for the final season premiere!"

In March 2021, it was announced that Maines will write the DC Comics debut of her CW character Nia Nal/Dreamer in the DC Pride LGBTQIA+ one-shot anthology.

In June 2021, DC will celebrate Pride with DC Pride, spotlighting its LGBTQIA+ characters and LGBTQIA+ creators. DC will also feature nine Pride-themed covers spotlighting LGBTQIA+ characters as well as graphic novels and miniseries focused on LGBTQIA+ characters.

Following its season premiere, Supergirl will replace Superman & Lois in its usual time-slot, which will go on hiatus due to a coronavirus-based incident that caused the production of its current season to temporarily cease. When Superman & Lois returns on May 18, Supergirl will air its remaining episodes during the summer.

The synopsis for Supergirl's Season 6, Episode 1, "Rebirth," reads,

As Braniac (Jesse Rath) lays close to death after trying to stop Lex (Jon Cryer), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and team soar in to save him, engaging in an epic battle with Gamenmae (guest start Cara Buono). After beating Leviathan, Supergirl turn her attention to Lex (Jon Cryer) who has used the Obsidian platform to brainwash half the world to love him and follow him at all costs, no matter what horrible things he does. Knowing how dangerous this makes her brother, Lena (Katie McGrath) enlists the entire team - Alex (Chyler Leigh), J’onn (David Harewood), Dreamer (Nicole Maines), Kelly (Azie Tesfair) and Braniac - to help, but Supergirl realizes that the only way to truly stop Lex is to sacrifice herself.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers, David Harewood as Martian Manhunter, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Nicole Maines as Dreamer and Jesse Rath as Brainiac-5. Season 6 premieres March 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
