Xbox recently announced that it has added two new Wireless Controllers to the Xbox Wireless Controllers collection.
The new Xbox Wireless Controllers come in two color schemes, Electric Volt and Daystrike Camo Special Edition, according to a new blog post on the Xbox website.
The Xbox Wireless Controller - Electric Volt features a bright yellow resin on the front, which is complemented by a matte black hybrid D-pad and a white back case. Other features include textured grip on the bumpers, triggers and back case, which provide more control while gaming.
The Daystrike Camo Special Edition controller is the third installment in the Xbox Camo series, following the Night Ops Camo and Arctic Camo Special Edition controllers. The newest addition features a palette of red, grey and black to make up a vibrant new camo design. It also includes features that are standard for the new Xbox Wireless Controllers, like the hybrid D-pad and textured grip on the triggers.
Both controllers are compatible with devices including Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One with the built-in Xbox Wireless radio, as well as Windows 10 PCs and mobile devices with Bluetooth Low Energy for remote play. Each controller also features the now-standard Share button, which allows users to capture screenshots and clips instantly; a USB-C port to play and charge with the Xbox Rechargeable Battery; and Dynamic Latency Input for a more responsive gaming experience.
The controllers also include the fan-favorite custom button mapping via the Xbox Accessories app and contain a portion of resins made from recycled materials such as automotive headlight covers, plastic water jugs and CDs.
The Electric Volt controller retails for $64.99 and goes on sale April 27, while the Daystrike Camo controller will be available for $69.99 starting May 4. Both controllers will be available in most Xbox markets worldwide, including the Microsoft Store.
Xbox is also launching a line of clothing inspired by the new controllers. The limited edition gear includes black tees, crew neck sweatshirts and shorts featuring logos in the Electric Volt and Red Daystrike camo color schemes. The new apparel apparel will be available in unisex sizes at Xbox Gear Shop beginning April 21.
In other Xbox-related news, Microsoft confirmed in early March that, as the result of its ZeniMax Media acquisition, Xbox added 20 Bethesda titles to Game Pass.
It was revealed at the time that "...20 of Bethesda's most iconic and award-winning games -- including games from franchises like Dishonored, Doom, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Wolfenstein -- [would be] available to Xbox Game Pass members." Sixteen of those titles were also made available on PC, console, or mobile devices through the cloud for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members."
