Xbox Is Bringing Outriders to Game Pass at Launch | CBR

Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass will be treated with Outriders, the third-person action RPG from Square Enix on its launch day of April 1.

Xbox Game Pass for Console and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play Outriders on Console and Android phones and tablets via Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta). Microsoft describes Outriders as a game "set in the distant future where players attempt to colonize a planet that they believe to be a new home for humanity." Unfortunately, the planet isn't looking to be colonized. This is where a mysterious storm called the Anomaly left advanced technology useless and wildlife evolved into ferocious monsters. Now, it's a war of attrition for the last of humanity's resources.

Outriders can be created and are fully customizable, with single-player or co-op gameplay available in the third-person perspective RPG-shooter. An added bonus is Outriders is fully cross-play, allowing you to compete with your friends on other platforms.

Developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix, Outriders releases for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and PC April 1.
