American Horror Story's Evan Peters is seemingly reprising his first role from the Ryan Murphy-created horror anthology series (again) in its upcoming tenth season.
Peters was seen in Tate Langdon's signature look from AHS Season 1 -- a green and black striped shirt with jeans -- in a leaked set photo shared by Instagram user ahs.doublefeature.
Further, a video was shot in a location that looks eerily like Season 1's location, Murder House, claiming that Peters was inside the house and portraying Langdon.
If this reported set leak is true, it won't be the first time that Peters brought Tate back for AHS fans. In Season 8, Apocalypse, Tate returned briefly in various scenes to show AHS fans how the evil incarnate of Michael Langdon came to be. Season 8 also showed that Tate was actually (at least as a devilish conduit) Michael's father. Also, the season revealed to his ill-fated love Violet that Tate saved her mother's life, thus finally ending their years of eternal silence.
The upcoming tenth season of AHS will be titled "Double Feature." Murphy recently confirmed that the upcoming season of AHS would be split into two thematic stories. While not too much is known about the upcoming season for the horror anthology series, Murphy has shared a sneak peek at its characters and its future monsters.
In addition to confirming that the show's upcoming season will be split into two parts, Murphy also told AHS fans that the castings might not be the same throughout Season 10. At the time of this writing, it's not been confirmed which announced Season 10 actors will star in which part of the upcoming season, nor which roles they will portray. Season 10 will, however, see the return of AHS alums Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock and Frances Conry.
At the time of this writing, it's unclear when in 2021 the upcoming AHS season will debut on FX.
American Horror Story Season 10 stars Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, Frances Conroy and Macaulay Culkin. It will premiere on FX in 2021.
