Muzan is shown to be a frighteningly strong demon (the first of his kind) in the Demon Slayer universe. Even though fans barely got a glimpse of his powers in the first season, it was enough to set the tone for Muzan to become perhaps the strongest antagonist from his universe.
Of course, outside his universe, there exist characters who are much stronger than him and can easily obliterate him within a matter of seconds. Muzan would have a tough time trying to stay alive if he were to fight these opponents in their own turf (aka their own universe), as compared to the Demon Slayer universe where Muzan is the strongest demon in existence.
10 Tatsumaki: An S-Class Superheroine Who Can Lift An Entire City In Minutes If She Wished (One-Punch Man)
Tatsumaki is an excessively powerful esper and an S-class hero, the highest rank of all superheroes from the One Punch Man universe. Even if Muzan combined all the powers he possessed, he would be no match for Tatsumaki’s psychokinetic output, seeing how she can lift Z-City without endangering herself.
Her telekinesis powers allow her to fight against demon-level opponents, throwing rocks the size of mountains at excessive speeds. Not to mention how her psychic barriers would be nearly impossible for Muzan to penetrate.
9 Azazel: Lucifer’s Trusted Demon Is A Force To Be Reckoned With (Rage Of Bahamut)
While Lucifer is portrayed as a neutral character, Azazel is his opposite. He's shown to be aggressive and hot-headed, but he never lets his emotions get in the way of his battles. His weapons of choice are the deadly black snakes he summons via black magic that fight on his behalf.
He also has a higher level of endurance than Muzan, as seen when he managed to survive an attack by Belzebuth himself. Unlike Muzan, he can move miles within seconds and also fly to dodge Muzan’s attacks. The only things that can kill Azazel are either archangels or those who possess the power of the green stones – both of which Muzan lacks.
8 Krul: She’s An Immortal Vampire Who Runs At Hypersonic Speed (Seraph Of The End)
This Type 1 immortal vampire possesses enhanced senses that help her detect attacks a few seconds before they hit her. She can also move at hypersonic speed, has Class 5 strength, and won’t die even if Muzan managed to wound her fatally.
This third progenitor vampire and Queen of Japan does not need a demon sword (unlike her peers) because her brute strength is enough to kill anybody who gets in her way. Like Muzan, the sun is her weakness, but unlike him, she can stand being exposed to the sun for 10 days straight. Basically, she's superior to him in every possible way, including her weakness.
7 Korosensei: This Creature Is Made Of Nearly Indestructible Material (Assassination Classroom)
Even if Korosensei’s body were destructible, Muzan would have to catch him first, which would be impossible, seeing how the creature travels at Mach 20. He also possesses inhumanly fast reflexes and strength, which give him an edge against Muzan.
Even if Muzan somehow managed to catch him, Korosensei could easily shed his skin or turn into liquid goo and free himself from his opponent's grip. His trump card would be to shrink to the size of a small ball within an indestructible shell for an entire day, during which he could easily survive even an atomic attack.
6 Berg Katze: This Alien’s Invisibility & Teleportation Powers Would Be A Great Asset Against Muzan (Gatchaman Crowds)
As the antagonist of Gatchaman Crowds, Berg Katze’s ability to teleport and become invisible whenever he desires would prove to be two very useful powers when it comes to battle. This is because he can easily confuse his opponent regarding his exact location, and then can easily use his tail to impale and kill Muzan.
If all else fails, he can rely on his NOTE’s ability to use Muzan’s worst fears against him, rendering him incapable of fighting this alien.
5 Saber: This Holy Servant Has An Inexhaustible Supply Of Superpowers & Weapons (The Fate Series)
Energy Projection, Magecraft, Forcefield Creation, and Air Manipulation are merely some of the many powers this holy servant possesses. Even if she were to only rely on her weapons, a simple stab from her holy Excalibur sword would result in instant death for a demon like Muzan.
An added advantage she has is her Invisible Air Noble Phantasm, which would mean Muzan would have absolutely no way of telling how big her sword is or where it is, putting him at a massive disadvantage.
4 Lucifer: Satan’s Right Hand Man Can Easily Give Muzan A Run For His Money (The Devil Is A Part-Timer)
Lucifer's powers are on full display when he makes his first appearance in the anime. Divine explosions, energy-based projectiles, unbelievable endurance are some of his many powers. His unknown magic capabilities also helped him survive a stab through his chest from the Hero Emilia's angel sword.
The best part is that since all his power is harnessed from negative human emotions, it means he’d never run out of energy and would, in the very least, easily out-tire Muzan in a battle.
3 Yato: Muzan Is No Match For A God Who Has A History Of Murdering Other Gods & Their Shinki (Noragami)
This God of Calamity has a blood-filled past where he killed supernatural and divine beings indiscriminately with nobody strong enough to fight him back. As he’s also the God of War, he’s excellent with his sword, Yukine, which has divine powers of its own.
Not to mention, Yato is near-immortal. The only thing that can kill him is either another God or Yukine’s corruption, leading to Yato’s blighting.
2 Rin: The Son Of Satan Is By Default Stronger Than The Strongest Demon On Earth (Blue Exorcist)
Not only is Rin a good swordsman, but he’s also an exorcist and has excellent regenerative properties. He can easily use his satanic blue flames to burn Muzan, who would be helpless against them since there’s no canon reversal or cure for those flames.
In a few anime-only episodes, Rin and Yukio combined were able to defeat the King of the Underworld – Satan himself, and while Rin alone may not be strong enough to pull off such a feat, there’s no denying he’d easily be able to kill Muzan.
1 Saiki: He Has Powers Even The Most OP Characters Would Love To Possess (The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K.)
Telekinesis, altering human DNA, mind control, curse, erasing memories – these powers don’t even scratch the surface of everything this young boy is capable of doing. Despite being a character in a parody anime, he’s actually one of the more powerful anime characters to ever exist.
This is why he would not even have to fight Muzan. He could easily trap him within impenetrable barriers, carry him off to some unknown land or simply curse him with his Curse power, and watch as Muzan fails at everything he does.
