Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson celebrated his daughter Tia's third birthday by honoring her love of Jason Momoa's Aquaman during the birthday girl's breakfast.
The DC Extended Universe star shared a photo of his daughter's breakfast guest on Instagram, writing, "For Tia's birthday she insisted AquaMan join us for breakfast -- and then after we eat, she asked daddy to draw AquaMan so she can FRAME IT and hang it up in her room."
Later, Johnson surprised Tia with a video message from Momoa, who promised that they could hang out in the ocean, "get together and play, maybe rock climb, maybe go surfing," and after apologizing for not being there personally, said he loved her and her dad.
"I can't thank my brother @prideofgypsies enough for making this adoring 3yr old's birthday the best EVER," Johnson wrote alongside the video. "Her reaction is priceless and what it's all about. I love you back, uso and this kind of stuff will ALWAYS be the best part of our fame. You epitomize one of my favorite quotes, 'It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.' Thanks for having my back - I'll always have yours."
Momoa reposted Johnson's video with his own response, stating, "When uncle Maui calls you up and asks for a favor. All my love to baby jazzy and baby tia happy birthday beautiful. I know what my kids are getting for their birthday Uncle Black Adam cheeehuu aloha j."
Jason Momoa debuted as the DCEU's Arthur Curry/Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, prior to starring in 2017's Justice League. Momoa reprised his role for 2018's Aquaman, HBO Max's Zack Snyder's Justice League and a voice role in The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. Momoa will return as the King of the Seas in Aquaman 2, which is currently set for a 2022 release and may potentially begin production this summer.
In April 2021, Johnson revealed that Black Adam has officially started filming. Details about the upcoming DCEU movie are being kept secret, though its story will explore the former Shazam champion's origins in Kahndaq, Adam's confrontation with the Justice Society of America and his relationship with Sarah Shahi's Adrianna.
