No matter who a person was or where they came from, they all had an equal chance to prove themselves and rise through the ranks to become the strongest shinobi out there.

In fact, some of the most promising and powerful shinobi rose through the ranks much faster than their comrades, thanks to this very impartiality. They ended up becoming a jonin-level shinobi at a very young age, with some of these shinobi being not even in their teens when they made it to jonin.

10 Konohamaru Sarutobi Became A Jonin Around The Age Of 24

Konohamaru was the grandson of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and considered Naruto to be his big brother. He was still quite young when the Naruto series ended.

In Boruto, he first appeared when he was 27 years old as the sensei of Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki. By this age, he had already been a jonin for a few years, and if one were to look at the timelines of both the anime, he most likely became a jonin at the age of 24.

9 Asuma Sarutobi Became A Jonin At The Age Of 20

Asuma Sarutobi was the son of Hiruzen Sarutobi and uncle of Konohamaru Sarutobi. He graduated from the Ninja Academy as a genin at 9 years of age and became a chunin at 12 years of age.

He finally became a jonin at the age of 20. His jonin duties were put on halt when he left the Hidden Leaf Village for a while, following a disagreement with his father. He returned to the village after a few years and resumed his duties.

8 Sakura Haruno Became A Jonin of Konoha At The Age Of 18

Even though she failed the first time she participated in the Chunin Exams, Sakura became a chunin, at the age of 14, during the second round of the Chunin Exams held in the Hidden Sand Village.
