Vin Diesel Celebrates F9's Fast and Furious Return to Theaters in New Clip

Vin Diesel celebrates the return of movies being released in theaters in a new featurette for F9.

Posted on The Fast Saga's YouTube channel, the "Our Return to Theaters" clip opens with a black car racing down a highway as Diesel explains, "It's been a while. The roads were a little empty. Places where we used to gather went quiet. We've gone through a year that tested us."

The car comes to a stop and Diesel emerges from the driver's side, saying, "But we're starting to see the promise of a new day. For more there a hundred years, there's one place where we all came together to be entertained. To escape, to go someplace new. The movies."

The Dom Toretto actor continues, "There's nothing like that moment when the lights go down. The projector ignites. And we believe."

Then, the teaser cuts to an action-packed sequence from F9, showing a car chase involving Dom and Letty, burning vehicles and a helicopter on their tail. At one point, Dom drives the car towards a cliff while Letty exclaims, "Tell me you're not thinking what I think you're thinking. There's no bridge!"

The rest of the featurette shows snippets of fan-favorite characters like Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Mia Toretto (Jordan Brewster) and Cipher (Charlize Theron), as well as newcomer John Cena, who portrays Dom's long-lost brother Jakob Toretto in F9.

Diesel wraps up the teaser by telling fans, "After staying apart for so long, it's time to come back together. To laugh, to cheer. We're ready to make you believe again. Cause nobody does a comeback like the movies... We'll see you soon."
