During a guest appearance at this year's WrestleMania, notorious internet personality Logan Paul found himself on the receiving end of a stunner courtesy of WWE superstar Kevin Owens.
As part of the second night of WrestleMania 37 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Paul accompanied wrestler Sami Zayn to the ring for the latter's bout against Owens. Owens ultimately picked up the win, with Paul turning his back on Zayn. Paul then attempted to celebrate with Owens, who was having none of it. Owens hit Paul with his finishing move, the Stunner (which was popularized by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in the 1990s), leaving the YouTuber face-down on the mat.
Paul first established his apparent allegiance to Zayn during a recent appearance on Friday Night SmackDown. Upon his arrival at WrestleMania, the internet personality was met with boos from the Tampa crowd. Notably, this year's 'Mania is the first since 2019's WrestleMania 35 to feature a live audience, as 2020's WrestleMania 36 was held behind closed doors at the WWE Performance Center due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
This isn't the first time Owens has put hands on a celebrity guest during his time with WWE. Back in 2015, popular musician Machine Gun Kelly took a powerbomb off the stage from Owens during an episode of Monday Night Raw. This also isn't the first time a celebrity guest has eaten a stunner at 'Mania, with Steve Austin himself having delivered the move to Donald Trump back at WrestleMania 23 in 2007.
