Their physical size can make them more difficult to defeat and some giant villains are intelligent to boot. Other non-gentle giants are simply dangerous because their feral and bestial nature prevents them from listening to reason.

The Gleam Eyes was the boss of Floor 74 in Sword Art Online. The monstrous creature had towered over his opponents with horns and thick muscles. Carrying a large sword, it could also fire energy from his mouth. As if Gleam Eyes wasn't a big enough threat, players couldn't teleport away from him. The players had to fight him in order to regain their freedom in the real world. Gleam Eyes was so powerful that it, unfortunately, managed to successfully kill some of the players before being defeated by Kirito.

Sloth was one of the Homunculi from Fullmetal Alchemist. He was created by Father. Despite being somewhat lazy, Sloth spent years creating a series of tunnels underneath the country of Amestris.
