A promo for The CW's Batwoman introduces the DC villain Cluemaster, who also happens to be the father of Bat-Family member Stephanie Brown, aka Spoiler.
The Batwoman promo is for Episode 13 in Season 2, titled "I'll Give You a Clue." It features Cluemaster leaving a series of puzzles for the Arrowverse show's cast to solve before his victims perish.
With Cluemaster's connection to Stephanie Brown, some fans may theorize that this means another Batman ally could be making their way to Gotham City in the near future. Of course, an appearance by Spoiler has not been confirmed, but having Cluemaster go up against Batwoman could open the door for Spoiler to join Luke Fox next to Ryan Wilder's Batwoman.
Stephanie Brown has spent the majority of her time in the DC Universe as Spoiler, but has also had a short stint as Batman's sidekick Robin. More recently, Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain have picked up the Batgirl mantle from Barbara Gordon while she transitions back to her Oracle alias.
Batwoman stars Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder, Rachel Skarsten as Alice, Meagan Tandy as Sophie Moore, Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox, Dougray Scott as Jacob Kane, Nicole Kang as Mary Hamilton-Kane and Wallis Day as Kate Kane. New episodes air Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
