Held down by restrictive rules, an embattled cheerleading squad seeks the freedom of a creepy, closed school gym to practice for regionals, but when members of the squad start to disappear, the cheerleaders must unmask their assailant to save themselves.

Produced by Universal 1440 Entertainment, "Bring It On: Halloween (WT)" will be released on non-theatrical platforms in 2022. Universal 1440 Entertainment is a production arm of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG).

The first Bring It On film in 2000 starred Gabrielle Union (L.A.'s Finest) as Isis and Kirsten Dunst (Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy) as Torrance, head cheerleaders of rival squads at schools in California. Newly named as the Toros squad's captain, Torrance comes to learn its routines are copied from the Clovers team that Isis leads -- just before both squads prepare to compete against each other in a national championship.

Bring It On had an $11 million budget and grossed $68.4 million domestically and $90.4 million globally. Five direct-to-video sequels followed -- Bring It On Again (2004), Bring It On: All or Nothing (2006), Bring It On: In It to Win It (2007), Bring It On: Fight to the Finish (2009) and Bring It On: Worldwide Cheersmack (2017), as well as Broadway's Bring It On: The Musical in 2011. Union and Dunst did not return for any of the sequels.
