Google is celebrating the series finale anniversary of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with a Bel-Air-themed makeover.
Users can head over to Google and search "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," which brings up the top searches related to the show. The search also brings up an image of the series' iconic "California Fresh" license plate in the top left corner, which, if clicked on, transforms the site into an ode to the beloved comedy series.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Google site comes with a '90s Internet aesthetic and a plethora of Fresh Prince-themed gags. Users can read reviews of Banks Mansion, Pool Hall and the Peacock Stop and view the latest fashion trends of the hip California neighborhood. Links for "Learn how to greet someone in Bel-Air" and "Get the latest from Hilary!" include short audio clips from the series and other references to the series.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air aired for six seasons on NBC from Sept. 1990 to to May 20, 1996 and starred Will Smith as a fictionalized version of himself. Born and raised in West Philadelphia, he is sent to live with his uncle and aunt in Bel-Air after getting in a fight in his home neighborhood. A reunion special premiered on HBO Max in November 2020. A reboot of the series is also in development at Peacock.
All six seasons of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion special are streaming on HBO Max.
