Hamon is a power that, when harnessed properly, can produce ripples of energy identical to that of the sun. Hamon is introduced in Part 1 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and appears throughout Part 2 as well. It is briefly mentioned in Part 3, as Joseph Joestar is still capable of using Hamon energy.
With the introduction of Stands, Hamon energy stopped being utilized by characters in JoJo. Although Stands seem to be a much more efficient way of fighting, Hamon is still an interesting and reliable fighting skill. There are many instances in which Hamon is used, producing some incredible moves, but there are also times where its use proves to be laughable and ridiculous.
