Mighty Morphin: Dan Mora Returns to Power Rangers for Zordon's Secret History

BOOM! Studios has released an official preview for Mighty Morphin #10, which is set to hit comic shops in August. The issue -- which delves into the secret history of Zordon -- marks the return of artist Dan Mora to BOOM!'s line of Power Rangers comics.

Described as a "special issue," Mighty Morphin #10 is written by Ryan Parrot and illustrated by Mora, who are joined on the book by colorists Raúl Angulo and Jose Enrique Fernández and letterer Ed Dukeshire. BOOM! explains that this creative team is set to "reveal a hidden chapter from Zordon's past that will change everything you thought you knew about the Power Rangers forever!"

"Discover Zordon's ties to Bandora's Palace on the Moon -- the modern home of Rita Repulsa," an official synopsis for Mighty Morphin #10 reads. "When an assassin is sent to disrupt the Eltarians efforts to protect an ancient weapon, Zordon is injured in the process and his mentor, Zophram, must make a decision that will alter the future of the Power Rangers as we know it!"

At this time, BOOM! has revealed three unlettered preview pages from Mighty Morphin #10. The publisher has also shared the issue's main cover by InHyuk Lee, as well as three variant covers -- one by Eleonora Carlini, one by Rian Gonzales and, of course, one by Mora.
