With Paramount+'s revival of Nickelodeon's iCarly set to premiere on June 17, an "exclusive clip" shared by the streaming platform sees returning stars Miranda Cosgrove and Jerry Trainor offer fans a tour of the show's updated apartment set.
One of the most iconic sets of the original iCarly was the first floor of Spencer Shay's (Trainor) Seattle apartment. However, Spencer's tastes appear to have changed quite a bit ever since his sister Carly (Cosgrove) moved out and he came into a significant amount money, presumably after finally hitting it big in the world of art. However, while Spencer's apartment does look significantly different than it used to, the layout is more or less the same. There are even some returning props, including a recreation of the "Bottle Bot" sculpture.
iCarly originally ran for six seasons on Nickelodeon from 2007 to 2012. The show received two television films: 2008's iGo to Japan and 2011's iParty with Victorious, the latter of which was a crossover between iCarly and fellow Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious. A follow-up to both shows titled Sam & Cat ran for a single season from 2013 to 2014.
Set 10 years after the conclusion of the original series, Paramount+'s iCarly sees Cosgrove, Trainor and Nathan Kress reprise their roles as Carly, Spencer and Freddie Benson, respectively. Jennette McCurdy is not expected to reprise her role as Sam Puckett, nor is Noah Munck expected to reprise his role as Gibby Gibson. That said, the show has added new main cast members in Laci Mosley, who plays Carly's roommate Harper, and Jaidyn Triplett, who plays Freddie's step-daughter Millicent. Moreover, a few supporting cast members from the original iCarly are returning for the revival as well -- namely Mary Scheer as Freddie's mother Marrisa, Danielle Morrow as Nora Dershlit and Reed Alexander as Nevel Papperman.
