Space Jam, the Michael Jordan/Looney Tunes animated team-up favorite, will be getting a re-release on Blu-ray in 4K Ultra HD to coincide with the film's 25th anniversary and the upcoming release of its sequel, Space Jam: A New Legacy.
Per a press release from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, the Blu-ray will be released on July 6. It will retail for $24.99 and include a digital copy of the feature. The film will be in Ultra HD, "Offering consumers brighter, deeper, more lifelike colors for a home entertainment viewing experience like never before."
Special features on the Blu-ray will include a commentary track with director Joe Pytka, Billy West (the voice of Bugs Bunny) and Dee Bradley Baker (the voice of Daffy Duck). There will also be the featurette "Jammin" with stars Jordan and Bugs, plus music videos for Seal's "Fly Like an Eagle" and the Monstars' anthem "Hit 'Em High" by B-Real, Busta Rhymes, Coolio, LL Cool J and Method Man.
Space Jam will be available to purchase on Blu-ray and digital download on July 6. Space Jam: A New Legacy stars LeBron James, Don Cheadle, Zendaya and Sonequa Martin-Green. The film arrives in theaters and on HBO Max July 16.
