A new trailer for Star Wars: The Bad Batch features the clone soldiers facing multiple threats -- including a baby Rancor.
The trailer features the Bad Batch's leader, Hunter, engaging in battle with bounty hunter Fennec Shand, who first appeared in The Mandalorian. "It's not safe for us anymore," Hunter tells the Batch. The group is also shown speaking to a Trandoshan woman, who tells them they need friends and money to survive in this new galaxy. Other snippets of footage include Omega wielding an energy bow and the aforementioned baby Rancor, with Wrecker engaging in hand-to-hand combat with the beast.
Shand's appearance in The Bad Batch was first revealed during its sizzle reel at Disney Investor Day 2020, and the series' first official trailer. Ming-Na Wen, who portrayed Shand in The Mandalorian, will reprise her role in both The Bad Batch and The Book of Boba Fett.
The Bad Batch spins out of the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and centers on Clone Force 99 as they adapt to life in a changing galaxy. In the process, they encounter another clone named Omega -- who may have secrets of her own. The series had its feature-length premiere on Star Wars Day and will run for a total of 16 episodes, according to supervising director Brad Rau.
Created by Dave Filoni, Star Wars: The Bad Batch stars Dee Bradley Baker and Ming-Na Wen. New episodes premiere Fridays on Disney+.
