The Flash Synopsis Teases a 'Shocking' Discovery | CBR

The CW has released new photos and a synopsis for The Flash's upcoming episode, "The People vs. Killer Frost."

The episode hints at a 'shocking' discovery surrounding the Speed Force (Michelle Harrison) as Barry Allen attempts to protect her and comes face to face with Alexa Rivera (Sara Garcia), a health worker who has her own connection to the Strength Force. Meanwhile, Killer Frost -- who was arrested in the previous episode "Growing Pains" -- is placed on trial for her crimes as Caitlin races against the clock to exonerate her.

Season 7 of The Flash features new adversaries in the forms of the other "Forces" of the universe, which include the Strength Force as well as the Sage Force and Still Force. The Strength Force has taken the form of the monstrous Fuerza, while the Sage Force is now the nightmare-inducing Psych. The Speed Force, on the other hand, has joined Team Flash -- something that Barry has slowly gotten used to, as it took the form of his late mother Nora.

A promo for "The People vs. Killer Frost" has teased Killer Frost's trial, as she was framed for a series of murders by the cryogenicist Chillblaine. Despite her innocence, Frost decided to turn herself in. This comes after Caitlin and Frost were split into two separate beings by the Mirror Mistress, and special investigator Kristen Kramer arrived in Central City to hunt Frost down.
