First Masters of the Universe: Revelation Trailer Updates He-Man, Skeletor

He-Man and the Guardians of Grayskull are back in the first teaser trailer for Kevin Smith's upcoming animated Netflix series, Masters of the Universe: Revelation.

The trailer begins with Sorceress reminding Skeletor that no matter how many times he attempts to conqueror Castle Grayskull, he will never succeed, a statement the skull-faced villain responds to by telling his magical nemesis to summon her champion. At this point, we get glimpses of Masters of the Universe: Revelation's main players, as Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For a Hero" kicks into gear, providing an unexpected yet perfect backdrop for the long-awaited return to Eternia.

"After 40 years, take back the power" flashes across the screen in massive type, before Prince Adam exclaims his iconic line "I have the power!" to start his transformation into He-Man. More action-packed sequences from the five episodes in Part 1 of Masters of the Universe: Revelation are given, ending with glimpses of what promises to be an epic showdown between He-Man and Skeletor.

The war for Eternia culminates in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago. After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered.
