9 The Flower Cake From Natsuyuki Rendezvous
Natsuyuki Rendezvous doesn't hesitate to capture its audience in its whimsical plot and gorgeous imagery, and this cake is no exception.
One of the main characters, Rokka, arranges this cake for her part-timer at her flower shop, Akko. Delicate, beautiful flowers from her shop adorn the cake. Akko is leaving to get married, which reminds Rokka of her late husband, but she still wishes her well.

Food Wars! is a shoo-in for any list about mouthwatering dishes, and Takumi Aldini's lemon semifreddo earns a spot here.
Takumi created this dessert during Totsuki Academy's Autumn Festival Quarterfinals. To make his dish more unique, he used olive oil to enhance its lemon aroma and make up for the lack of butter. Unfortunately, the combination of English and Italian cuisines was not enough to win him a spot in the Quarterfinals.

6 South Pole Parfait From Polar Bear Café
Despite his affinity for terrible puns, Polar Bear is a talented chef who doesn't run a popular café for nothing. His parfait consists of orange slices, a garnish, and a penguin and seal made of what looks like ice cream sitting on top of a teal-colored jelly. There also appears to be blue shaved ice, or "kakigori," a popular summer treat in Japan. They come in a variety of flavors, created by the newly-employed pastry chef, Shun Yotsuba. Shun was a former idol known as "Yottsun" who quit to become a chef for Starlight Academy. He's always looking to show off his culinary skills and experiment with new donut flavors.

The strawberry tart from Plastic Memories holds a special meaning for Souta Wakanae, a young orphan and the Giftia Marcia's former owner. Souta's personality soured after his parents' deaths, forcing a wedge between himself and Marcia.

3 Mayaka's Valentine's Day Chocolates From Hyoka
Who knew chocolate could cause so much chaos? In episode 21 of the mystery anime Hyoka, Mayaka's huge handmade chocolate heart goes missing, and Hotaro is determined to find the culprit.
Angels don the chocolate heart on either side, accompanied by multiple miniature hearts, roses, and lace-like detailing. Mayaka must have made this heart with a particular person in mind based on the size and ornate decorations. They must be something special!
2 Honey Milk From Ponyo
Ponyo and Sosuke return home, soaked from a storm that's flooding their town. They enjoy a sizeable bowl of pork ramen while Sosuke's mother, Risa, prepares a sweet drink to warm them up.
Their eyes widen as she mixes up a spoonful of golden honey into their mugs, stirring it gently into the warm milk. It's the perfect drink to relax with after braving the tsunami just outside the door.

Bouncing back to another food-themed anime, no one can resist such an adorable donut inspired by KiraKira☆Pretty Cure a la Mode's puppy mascot, Pekorin.
The giant donut is frosted pink and modeled after Pekorin's likeness. Her fluffy ears are made of cream, and her eyes, blushing cheeks, and mouth are made of candy and chocolate. Lastly, a pink candy star adorns the donut's top-left side.
