The Addams Family 2 released nine new character posters for the upcoming animated sequel, with one featuring Thing and its prospective love interest in the film.
Each poster is labeled with the film's tagline, "Unhappy to see you again," with Thing's poster featuring the animated hand with the love interest in question: an inanimate Hawaiian girl doll.
In order, the posters feature each family member ready for a family vacation, including Thing, Gomez Addams (voiced by Oscar Isaac), Morticia Addams (voiced by Charlize Theron), Pugsley Addams (voiced by Javon "Wanna" Walton), Wednesday Addams (voiced by Chloë Grace Moretz), Uncle Fester (voiced by Nick Kroll), Granny (voiced by Bette Midler), Cousin It (voiced by Snoop Dogg) and Cyrus (voiced by Bill Hader). After the success of the first CG animated revival of The Addams Family in 2019, the sequel is set to release in October of this year. The first teaser trailer The Addams Family 2 was released in 2020.

Everyone's favorite spooky family is back in the animated comedy sequel, The Addams Family 2. In this all-new movie we find Morticia and Gomez distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and totally consumed with "scream time." To reclaim their bond they decide to cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation. Their adventure across America takes them out of their element and into hilarious run-ins with their iconic cousin, It, as well as many new kooky characters. What could possibly go wrong?
