Attack on Titan is home to some of the deadliest sword fighters in modern anime, most of all Captain Levi Ackerman and Eren's good friend, Mikasa Ackerman. Mikasa is at the top of her game, being a wildly talented fighter with good instincts and a sharp mind for tactics. She can take down pure Titans with ease, but how would she fare against Quirk-powered humans?
If Mikasa faced the Heroes and Villains of the My Hero Academia universe, she'd be better equipped to take on some of them than others. Some Quirks would counter her fighting style too well, while other Quirks wouldn't be nearly as challenging.
10 MIKASA CAN DEFEAT: Mt. Lady Would Be A Familiar Challenge
The fun-loving Hero Mt. Lady can turn herself into a colossus of destruction with her Quirk, making her a highly effective melee hero when collateral damage isn't a concern. Mt. Lady can seize and throw around Villains and cars like toys, but Mikasa is more than ready for this.
Mt. Lady is effectively Female Titan 2.0, and if Mikasa can take on pure Titans or Titan Shifters and survive, then she could handle Mt. Lady, who doesn't even have the benefit of regeneration or hardening her skin.
9 MIKASA CAN'T DEFEAT: Eijiro Kirishima Is Too Tough For Paring Blades
Eijiro Kirishima is a tough melee hero, and while he lacks Mikasa's sheer speed and mobility, he has a major asset on his side: his ultra-hard skin. With his Hardening Quirk, he can shrug off all of Mikasa's blade attacks, and not even a thunder spear will work on him, if Mikasa happened to have one.
Ejiro could wear Mikasa down with his defenses similar to the Armored Titan, and lure her into close-quarters combat once Mikasa's swords were broken. Eijiro just might overwhelm her in close combat, and if not, then the battle would be a draw, and Mikasa would fail to take this durable hero down.
8 MIKASA CAN DEFEAT: Mezo Shoji Will Get Sliced Apart With Ease
One of the most visually striking support Heroes in Class 1-A is the six-armed Mezo Shoji, who can easily see and hear anything with those appendages of his. Mezo can also form defensive barriers with the webbing between his many arms.
But none of this would help him against Mikasa Ackerman, whose speed is far too great for Mezo to handle, and Mikasa's paring blades can slice through any defenses Mezo Shoji might set up for himself. His arms and webbing wouldn't last long against Mikasa's cutting edge.
7 MIKASA CAN'T DEFEAT: Endeavor Could Simply Blast Her Away
The new #1 Pro Hero, the flaming Endeavor, is eager to prove himself worthy of taking over All Might's spot at the top. His Hellflame Quirk is scorching hot, and when Endeavor suddenly creates that much heat, he is bound to rapidly expand the air around him, too.
All this is a big problem for Mikasa, who is liable to get blown way off-course when using her ODM gear to maneuver around Endeavor. Her speed is sufficient to outpace Endeavor, but it won't matter when he throws her around in a searing hurricane and roasts her alive.
6 MIKASA CAN DEFEAT: Rikido Sato Is Merely Strong, With No Special Defenses
Another melee powerhouse is Sugarman, or Rikido Sato, who weaponizes the concept of a sugar rush with his Quirk. When his Sugar Rush ability is active, Rikido can punch his way through solid concrete walls with ease, though his rush lasts only for a few minutes. Against most foes, that is sufficient.
Mikasa Ackerman, however, would be more than ready for this. Rikido's Quirk grants him no special defenses aside from moderately boosted speed, so Mikasa could simply evade his blows and slice him apart with her blades. Not even the strongest sugar rush could protect Rikido's flesh from those sharp swords.
5 MIKASA CAN'T DEFEAT: Gigantomachia Is Too Tough For Even A Titan Killer
The massive Gigantomachia is another Titan-esque foe for Mikasa to face, but this will be an entirely different challenge than Mt. Lady. Gigantomachia was once All For One's personal bodyguard, and he has endurance to match. The entire League of Villains fought him, but failed to bring him down no matter hard they tried.
Gigantomachia may be slow and easy to see, but his sheer durability would easily keep Mikasa's swords at bay, and Mikasa would struggle to land a serious blow on him. She'd do better to retreat rather than let Gigantomachia seize her in his hands and crush her.
4 MIKASA CAN DEFEAT: Reiko Yanagi Has No Hope Of Hitting Mikasa With Her Projectiles
Class 1-B really proved themselves during the joint training exercise, and although students such as Kinoko Komori and Jurota Shishida were stars, there was also Reiko Yanagi, a girl who can lift and throw around objects with her Poltergeist Quirk, controlling dozens at once.
This makes Reiko an effective ranged fighter, but alas, Mikasa's speed, agility and reflexes are far too advanced for Reiko to handle, and Reiko would be helpless if Mikasa got up close and swung her swords. Reiko would have only two options: either surrender, or get cut to pieces.
3 MIKASA CAN'T DEFEAT: Fumikage Tokoyami's Dark Shadow Is Too Much For Mikasa To Handle
One of the strongest first-year students is the raven-headed Fumikage Tokoyami, who is right on par with powerhouses like Shoto Todoroki and the explosive Katsuki Bakugo. Fumikage doesn't boast, but his abilities are for real, and they're more than enough to take on Mikasa Ackerman.
Dark Shadow is quick and flexible, and it could intercept and block Mikasa's attacks since it wouldn't be cut by her blades. Mikasa is also less accustomed to fighting at night, when pure Titans sleep, so if their battle took place then, Dark Shadow would have a two-fold advantage as it gets even stronger in the dark. At some point, Dark Shadow would find a chance to strike back, either seizing Mikasa's swords or her ODM cables to shut her down, then finish her.
2 MIKASA CAN DEFEAT: Seiji Shishikura Can't Land A Hit On Someone With Mikasa's Speed
One of the most fearsome students outside of U.A. is Seiji Shishikura, who has a Quirk called Meatball. He can break off pieces of his flesh and move them around, and once these flesh pieces touch a target, that person will get squished up into a helpless meatball.
Seiji is rather crafty and cunning when he does this, and he even caught Katsuki Bakugo unawares during their fight. Mikasa, however, is too quick in her maneuvers, and she could get right in Seiji's face and slash him up before he could react.
1 MIKASA CAN'T DEFEAT: Inasa Yoarashi Can Keep Her At Bay With His Gales
Inasa Yoarashi goes to the same school as Seiji Shishikura, and although he's much friendlier, he's no less effective in battle. Inasa made himself Shoto's rival by mastering his incredible Whirlwind Quirk, and he can take on dozens of foes at once and prevail.
Inasa's winds can easily blow Mikasa away and disrupt her movements, which gives her no opportunity to get close and slash him. To finish the fight, Inasa could blast Mikasa with his strongest winds, slam her to a wall, and knock her out.
