With his overwhelming power, Jujutsu Kaisen's Satoru Gojo probably doesn't need any assistance in battle. But if he did ever want a little extra help, where better to look for an ally than the Pokémon world, where there are almost a thousand possible companions to be found?
Plus, with how annoying he can be to his fellow Jujutsu sorcerers, Gojo might be in need of a friend. Whether they suit him in terms of looks, personality, or powers, here are 10 of the Pokémon that might suit Gojo the best.
10 Krookodile Is A Croc Who Rocks Sunglasses
Ash's Krookodile from the anime might be the only one to sport a pair of actual sunglasses, but all of these Ground/Dark-type Pokémon have markings around their eyes that look remarkably like some fashionable eyewear.
If Gojo wants a Pokémon to match with in battle, then Krookodile is a perfect choice -- although Gojo is usually associated with his signature black blindfold, in his more casual moments he has been spotted with a pair of stylish sunglasses. Plus, Krookodile's Dark type implies a trickster personality that Gojo would definitely get along with.
9 Gallade Protects The Weak
With its sword-like arm blades and its Mega Evolution's sweeping cloak, Gallade clearly lives up to its image as portrayed in its Pokédex entries, which highlight its desire to protect weaker Pokémon. It's clearly a knight in shining, bright green armor.
This means it would make a great companion to Gojo as he does what he does best -- helping his less powerful protégés in battle. He proves so annoying to enemy plans because of this that a large part of their strategies have to revolve around limiting his power.
8 Masquerain, The Eyeball Pokémon, Fits Gojo's Signature Feature
Easily Gojo's most striking feature -- and a big selling point for his many fans -- is his incredibly beautiful blue eyes, which are all the more striking because they're usually hidden behind his black blindfold. Not only are they an iconic part of his appearance, but they also represent his most powerful abilities: they are the Six Eyes, which grant him the power to use the technique Limitless.
With this in mind, what better Pokémon to be on his team than Masquerain, the Eyeball Pokémon? With the markings on its wings, this Bug/Flying-type Pokémon also uses the symbol of eyes to strike fear into its enemies.
7 Snivy Knows It's Better Than Everyone Else
Gojo doesn't always get along well with his colleagues -- a great example of this being his adversarial relationship with Utahime, a fellow faculty member over at Kyoto Jujutsu High. A big part of this is that he knows fully well how powerful he is, and isn't exactly modest about it.
A Pokémon to represent this aspect of his personality would be Snivy, the Grass-type starter from Generation V that quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its memorably smug-looking expression. Having Snivy around probably wouldn't make Gojo any more popular among his peers, though.
6 Alcremie Is The Sweetest Pokémon Out There
Gojo has a serious sweet tooth. Sugary treats might have only appealed to him at first as a quick source of energy, but by the time the series starts, he's gotten a real taste for them. In the anime and manga, he's been seen enjoying melon soda, lots of sugar in his coffee, and sweet cream rice cakes.
With Alcremie, a Pokémon with a body made entirely of whipped cream, Gojo can represent his sweet tooth while also having a powerful Fairy-type Pokémon to fight at his side -- plus, Alcremie's multiple forms mean he can choose whatever flavor he wants.
5 Morpeko Goes From Cute To Deadly In The Blink Of An Eye
One of the most interesting things about Gojo's character, and part of what makes him so appealing to fans, is the way his personality can switch from being one of the most laid-back and jokey characters in the show to getting serious when he reveals his true power.
One Pokémon that has a hidden personality is Morpeko, whose adorable, Pikachu-like initial appearance conceals its viciousness once it switches into Hangry Mode. If these two ever team up, let's just hope there are enough sweets to go around.
4 Impidimp Loves To Play Pranks
Despite being the most widely-feared Jujutsu sorcerer in the world, Gojo refuses to take life too seriously, and -- as exemplified in an infamous Juju Stroll segment featuring Kento Nanami -- he loves playing pranks on his friends and co-workers. One Pokémon that will definitely be able to help him out in messing with people as much as in battle is Impidimp, whose teasing personality is perfectly expressed by its ability, Prankster.
Impidimp and its evolutions also have a unique typing that mean they are doubly resistant to Dark-type moves, which might come in handy when dealing with curses.
3 Luxray Can See Through Solid Materials
Gojo's famous Six Eyes means that, by perceiving the cursed energy output of objects around him with incredibly high detail, he is able to 'see through' his signature black blindfold. A similar ability can be seen in the Generation IV Electric-type Pokémon Luxray, which can see even through solid walls when hunting prey -- hence its name, a pun on 'X-ray'.
With Luxray and Gojo tracking them down, enemy Curses won't be able to hide for long -- and Luxray's powerful electric attacks won't hurt in battle, either.
2 Uxie's Eyes Hide A Secret
Like the rest of Sinnoh's Lake Guardians, Uxie, with its small, pixie-like body, looks harmless enough, but it can unleash a power befitting of a legendary Pokémon. Uxie is rarely seen with its eyes open, and that's because one look at them will completely wipe a person's memory.
Just like Uxie, when an enemy sees Gojo's actual eyes they know that they're in a world of trouble. He doesn't keep them covered to protect those around him, but it definitely might be because the reminder of his incredible power is downright scary.
1 Arceus Is The Most Powerful Pokémon Ever
Gojo is undeniably the most powerful sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen. If any human being truly deserves to have Arceus, the creator of the Pokémon world, fighting alongside them, it's him.
Gojo's power can even be considered to be on a similar scale to this God of Pokémon: his Domain expansion literally creates a new universe that he can plunge his enemies into, where they are subjected to infinite information until their minds can't take it anymore.
