The status of Antony Starr's Homelander heading into Season 3 of Amazon Prime Video's The Boys has been confirmed.
In the first installment of Vought News Network's Seven on 7 With Cameron Coleman, it's revealed that Homelander is remaining silent following "Stormfront's shocking deceit and deception." It's also noted that he's been "a public no-show" as a result of his heartbreak. Season 3 of The Boys ended with Stormfront's true colors coming to light shortly before being nearly incinerated by Ryan Butcher's heat vision.
This video is the first in what will be a series of Seven on 7 installments releasing on the seventh of every month in the lead-up to Season 3 of The Boys. "Since the very start of The Boys, we've seen Vought's propaganda arm — I mean, news channel — VNN," showrunner Eric Kripke told EW. "We'll be digging deeper into those fair and balanced patriots next season, so as a teaser, we're introducing 'Seven on 7' with VNN's biggest star Cameron Coleman. The episodes are in-world canon, serving up brand-new information that bridges the story gap between season 2 and 3. So enjoy the hot takes and catheter commercials, just like your parents do!"
Based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes – who are as popular as celebrities – abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good.
Amazon Studios' The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as The Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander, Katia Winter as Little Nina, Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Sean Patrick Flannery as Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler as Blue Hawk, Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic and Laurie Holden as Crimson Countess. Season 3 has yet to receive a premiere date.
