Marvel Comic's X-Factor #10 is a vibrant and colorful finale to Leah Williams and David Baldeón's X-Factor run. Set on the night of Emma Frost's magnificent Hellfire Gala, X-Factor #10 features elegant costumes, poignant moments and a shockingly sinister twist that's sure to be felt across the Marvel Universe. With no shortage of moments to remember, X-Factor #10 delivers an action-packed conclusion to the Hellfire Gala event that both ties up the series' arc neatly while introducing new questions for the future of the X-Universe.

Written by Leah Williams and with artwork by David Baldeón, David Messina, and Lucas Werneck, X-Factor #10 follows the cast of the X-Factor team as they navigate the sprawling extravaganza that is Emma Stone's Hellfire Gala. The final issue of Leah Williams' X-Factor tenure has the potential to feel over-crowded. The Hellfire Gala is an already explosive event. With X-Factor #10 focusing on both the Hellfire Gala and tying up X-Factor's loose ends, it can be difficult to find downtime. While the first few pages offer a wonderfully casual look at the team's preparations for the Gala, once the party starts the issue rarely finds room to breathe. This isn't to say that any scene feels unnecessary or out of place, in fact, quite the opposite. Each moment of the issue puts forward something unique and important to closing the chapter on X-Factor. The scenes themselves are well-considered and thoughtful and showcase some entertaining banter among many fan-favorite Hellfire Gala attendees. Prodigy and Eye-Boy stand out as the best characters in the issue, and their involvement in the final twist will certainly ensure both characters have a part to play in the fallout to come.

Visually, X-Factor #10 is a marvel. From artists Baldeón, Messina and Werneck and colorist Israel Silva, each panel of the issue is dynamic, exciting and full of life. The Hellfire Gala outfits are certainly the visual highlight of the issue, with once again Prodigy and Eye-Boy standing out as the best dressed of the team. Each character's dress matches their personality and demeanor, which adds a dynamic realism to characters usually seen in costume or uniform. The color-work perfectly matches the lively feel of the extravaganza as well, keeping the overall feel of the issue lively and grandiose in the best way.

Although the issue itself can feel a bit encumbered by the material at times, overall X-Factor #10 delivers a thoughtful and poignant finale set amongst the throngs of Hellfire Gala guests. And as if this wasn't enough, the issue introduces a twist large enough to propel forward the future of the X-Men and possibly the Marvel Universe at large.

X-Factor #10 is recommended for those familiar with the series. While the book is a wonderful read, it serves as the finale to a ten-issue run, so much of its time is spent tying up the X-Factor's previous exploits with a bow. That said, even for those unfamiliar with X-Factor's recent adventures, #10 introduces a rather large bombshell. For comic fans looking to stay on the cutting edge of the X-Men's futureX-Factor #10 is a must-read.
