Zack Snyder's Justice League Storyboards Turned Into Motion Comic

Zack Snyder's vision for the future of the DC Extended Universe is happening...sort of.

A non-profit fan-made project in development, The Dreamscapes of Justice League: A Motion Comic, will see the storyboards created by Snyder, Jim Lee, and Geoff Johns adapted into a full-motion comic film. Narration for the film will be provided by Darkseid actor Ray Porter from Zack Snyder's Justice League. The film is planned to release this year in 2021.

These storyboards outlined all of Snyder's ideas for future Justice League movies. The motion comic is being made with the intent to support #RestoreTheSnyderVerse and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

According to the storyboards that were leaked while on exhibition, Snyder's plans were intended to stretch across two additional Justice League films, including more of the "Knightmare" storyline. The final film would have been a culmination of all the movies before it with a tremendous finale that saw Earth's heroes, Amazons, Atlanteans and the Green Lantern Corps battling Darkseid and his forces.

Other ideas that were going to play a role included Lex Luthor's formation of the Legion of Doom. The team would have been comprised of villains from previous films, such as Dr. Poison from Wonder Woman, Black Manta and Ocean Master from Aquaman and others. At the time, Captain Cold and The Riddler were also planned for the team after appearances in separate Batman and Flash solo films.

The epilogue after the final film would have seen Lois Lane's son, whose father was Bruce Wayne, taking up the mantle of Batman in Gotham City. It is unclear how much of the storyboards will be adapted in this motion comic, but fans will have to wait until it releases to find out.
