As for villains, the splash art at the end of the trailer confirms that the game will include M.O.D.O.K., Red Skull, Baron Mordo, Kingpin, Ultron and Magneto. During the trailer, what appears to be a version of Cull Obsidian chases down Spider-Man.

Developed by Netmarble, Marvel Future Revolution is Marvel's first open-world RPG exclusive to mobile devices. Players will step into the role of several iconic heroes as they level up and take down hordes of enemies in an attempt to save the multiverse from an incident known as The Convergence. The game's campaign, penned by Marc Sumerak (Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order), will take players across a variety of locations, both familiar and original. The Asgardian-dominated Midgardia, the terrifying Hydra Empire Zone and the wastelands of Sakaar will all make an appearance.

As players progress through the game, they'll unlock a variety of cosmetics for their heroes. Parts of these outfits can be interchanged and swapped out to create a look that is completely unique. Netmarble estimates that Marvel Future Revolution will feature over 400 million different cosmetic combinations. Some of the game's more unique looks, including Spider-Man decked out in what appears to be gladiator armor, are highlighted in the launch trailer.
