My Hero Academia: 10 Times All For One Proved That He Was The Strongest Villain

My Hero Academia is set in a future where supernatural Quirks are commonplace, and most Quirks are insufficient for villainy or superhero work. Generations ago, one man sought to unite the people of the world under his thumb, and his incredible Quirk allowed him to move other people's Quirks around as he saw fit. His ability was called All For One, and it is a truly historic power.

The man soon named himself after this Quirk, and he set to work gathering armies of loyal followers who needed his guidance in the early days of Quirks. Now, he is the great All Might's #1 enemy, and he has proven many times that he is truly a villain to be feared. Ten particular scenes, battles and overall accomplishments prove why All For One is indeed the greatest threat that superheroes have ever faced.

10 When He Accidentally Created One For All

Although All For One didn't actually intend to create such a powerful Quirk, the mere fact that he could proves just how talented he is. Generations ago, All For One sought to help his sickly, Quirkless brother, and granted him an energy-storing Quirk with his remarkable ability.

Over time, this energy-storage Quirk grew to become the incredible One For All, which Izuku Midoriya now wields. All For One may have created the ultimate weapon against himself, but it's still remarkable that he could pull this off. Who else could have fashioned such a historic Quirk like that single-handedly?

9 When All For One Gathered A Loyal Army

All For One enjoyed power, and he sought to prove it to the entire world. Back in those days, when everyone was still figuring out Quirks, many people were confused and frightened by their supernatural gifts, so All For One helped the people in exchange for gaining their loyalty.

Few if any other villains could have done this, and All For One had countless followers who were willing to do anything for him. It was like a massive prototype to the future League of Villains, an army to enforce All For One's will.

8 When All For One Permanently Injured All Might

This particular clash happened off-screen, but the results are horribly clear for all to see. Early in My Hero Academia, the symbol of peace, All Might, was seemingly invincible, but he wasn't. He had suffered a horrible injury in the past, and his strength was draining away. Eventually, he couldn't fight as All Might any longer.

Only All For One could have dealt such a grievous blow; not even Stain the Hero Killer or the flaming Dabi have what it takes to injure All Might like that. But All For One does, and thus, the timer is counting down, so All Might found an heir in Izuku Midoriya.

7 When He Created The Nomus

All For One wasn't seen on-screen doing this, but no one else could have possibly done it. Although All For One has plenty of loyal followers in the League, he needs specialized fighters to take down the top Pro Heroes, and thus, he created the horrific Nomu beasts, all of which have multiple Quirks each.

All For One used his own Quirk to make this possible, and the result is a small army of monsters that can even challenge the likes of All Might and the fierce Endeavor in combat, such as the Hooded Nomu. The horrors never end, and it's all because of All For One.

6 When All For One Had The Foresight To Prepare An Heir

All Might is proud of his heir, Izuku, but he's not the only one who's preparing for the future. All For One is smart and pragmatic enough to prepare an heir, and pass the baton to that heir to continue the quest for world domination. Some villains are too proud, stubborn or short-sighted to do that, but not All For One.

Tomura Shigaraki is that heir, and he is set to receive the All For One Quirk so he can finish what his ancient master started generations ago. Evil simply passes from one set of hands to another, and that makes a superhero's job much harder.

5 When All For One Disturbed All Might With Mere Words

All For One had the chance to prove that he is the #1 villain not only in physical strength, but also psychologically. Taunts, intimidation and threats are common fare for villains in any work of fiction, but most words merely bounce right off of All Might's unshakable confidence and courage. But there's one exception.

After All For One got himself captured and imprisoned, and when he and All Might spoke, All For One intimidated and upset him with his smug words. The world is changing for the worse, and All Might is helpless to stop the rise of villainy. Not just any villain could get to All Might like that.

4 When All For One Required Strict Security Despite Being Injured

This is something that All For One indirectly did, which proved just how powerful and terrifying he is. Despite falling in battle, being captured, and being incredibly close to death, All For One was handled like he was a bomb about to go off. No one could afford to take him lightly.

All For One was placed under incredibly strict security measures in the Tartarus prison, despite being so feeble he could barely stay alive with life-support machinery. Clearly, he is hiding some strength, or at least led people to believe that he is still dangerous.

3 When All For One Wiped Out Best Jeanist's Squad

During the quest to rescue Katsuki Bakugo from the League of Villains, All For One himself finally appeared in person, and none of the Pro Heroes, aside from All Might, were ready to face him. The giant Mt. Lady, Gang Orca and Best Jeanist all met him, and they didn't stand a chance. They were too afraid to even attack.

Best Jeanist acted fast, and used his Quirk to get the others to safety just before All For One took him down with ease. Not even Tomura Shigaraki or Dabi could have defeated this Hero squad like that, and All For One was just getting warmed up.

2 When All For One Nearly Beat All Might To Death

All For One and All Might finally had their fated rematch, and the entire world watched in mixed hope and horror as the symbols of evil and peace clashed. All Might held nothing back, but even then, he struggled to take his ultimate nemesis down. No other villain can even make him break a sweat, but All For One can.

All For One shocked every onlooker when he simply punched All Might away, sending the symbol of peace flying and wearing him down blow by blow. Normally, it's unthinkable for All Might to suffer a serious blow in battle, but this is a whole different kind of fight.

1 When All For One Survived United States Of Smash

Even All Might was becoming convinced that he couldn't win, and his spirits were breaking. Only the monstrous All For One could push him that far, and at one point, it seemed that evil would triumph. That was when All Might gathered the final embers of One For All and delivered his ultimate attack: United States of Smash.

Even an entire army of villains would be reduced to dust by this attack, but incredibly, All For One survived it - though narrowly. He is the only villain in the world who could force All Might to use such an incredible attack out of desperation.
