Hasbro's latest iteration of its Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mashup features some interesting characters.
Raphael as the Red Ranger and Tommy as a Foot Clan soldier instead of his usual Green Ranger alter ego. Both six-inch figures come with swappable heads and over 20 points of articulation. Raph boasts his traditional sais mashed up with the Red Ranger's Power Sword, while Tommy has a katana.
All of the figures in Hasbro's Power Rangers x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series were inspired by the 2019 BOOM! Studios comic crossover between the two franchises, scripted by Ryan Parrott with art by Simone Di Meo.
In the five-issue series, Tommy infiltrated the Foot Clan in New York City, hence his plastic toy appearance. Shredder transformed into his own version of the Green Ranger after seizing Tommy's Dragon Power Coin, while the TMNT morphed into a special shelled take on the sentai team -- the Turtle Rangers.
Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and April O'Neil were previously revealed as other Power Rangers x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures, which are all part of Hasbro's Lightning Collection line celebrating iterations of the Power Rangers.
Pre-orders for Raph and Tommy are currently sold out on Hasbro's website. All of the Power Rangers x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures come in two-packs retailing for $52.99.
