A new trailer has dropped for the anime adaptation of the BL (Boys' Love) mystery manga The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window.
The trailer gives fans a preview of the anime's opening theme song "Saika," which is performed by the rock band Frederic. Studio Zero-G (My Roommate Is a Cat, Grand Blue) is producing The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window with Daiji Iwanga (My First Girlfriend is a Gal) acting as the chief director and Ayumi Sekine (Fate/Apocrypha, Pokémon Sun & Moon) as the script supervisor.
The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window's voice cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki (One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen) as Kosuke Mikado, Wataru Hatano (My Hero Academia, Moriarty the Patriot) as Rihito Hiyakawa, Soma Saito (ODDTAXI, Backflip!!) as Keita Mukae and Chika Anzai (My Roommate Is a Cat) as Erika Hiura.
Tomoko Yamashita's manga of the same name was first published in the BL publication Magazine Be x Boy on March 7, 2013. The story follows Kosuke, a bookstore clerk who can see ghosts, and Rihito, an exorcist who tends to ignore social boundaries, as they work together to investigate a supernatural mystery at the local high school.
The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window is scheduled to premiere on Oct. 3 in Japan on Tokyo MX. Crunchyroll has licensed the series and will stream new episodes as they air in Japan.
