Despite the rocky start that Cleo (Omono Okojie) had with the Super Squad and the Salvatore School, the witch will return for Legacies Season 4 in a much larger and epic capacity.
After appearing in nine episodes of Legacies Season 3 as the witchy muse tried to Malivore, Okojie will now be a series regular on the hit series, as confirmed by Deadline.
The Season 3 finale of Legacies once again saw Hope and Cleo not quite seeing eye-to-eye. After Cleo left the Salvatore School with who she thought was Landon, the pair went on a mission to find a way to defeat Malivore that doesn't end with Hope becoming a fully powered tri-breed. However, an accidental run-in with the pair and a misunderstood glance led Hope to think that Cleo was starting a romantic relationship with her ill-fated ex-boyfriend.
Previously, Cleo used her muse powers to trick Hope into creating a golem-Landon. While Cleo thought this would help Hope grieve her loss, it ended up backfiring in a way that almost killed the tri-breed. Coupled with the Season 3 reveal that Cleo was once Malivore's captured artist who is forced to do his bidding, Hope has some definite trust issues with Cleo. However, Season 3 ended with Cleo promising Hope that she's as determined to defend her and defeat Malivore as ever -- cementing her status as a Super Squad member for Season 4.
The CW has yet to reveal the premise of Legacies Season 4's premiere, but the show's Season 3 finale, "Fate's a Bitch, Isn't It?" teased that Hope might be embracing her vampire-side soon. Although most of the finale was spent brainstorming other ways, again, for Malivore to be defeated without Hope needing to activate her vampire side, the finale ends with Hope doing a candle-lit ritual of sorts, which teased that she might finally be ready to die, so that the rest of the world can live.
Legacies Season 4 will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on The CW. At the time of this writing, the following cast members have also been confirmed to be returning for the upcoming fall season: Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Kaylee Bryant, Quincy Fouse, Aria Shahghasemi, Peyton Alex Smith, Chris Lee, Leo Howard, Ben Levin, and Matthew Davis.
