Trevor Belmont is the notorious and aloof vampire hunter and partner to Sypha, a Speaker with great magical powers. His favored weapon is the whip that many of the Belmont family are well-known for using and the heirloom, the Morning Star. He and Sypha began the series fighting off terrifying creatures lead by Dracula, a formidable and legendary vampire lord.
With the help of Alucard, the three succeed, but the fighting did not stop there. Though Belmont is accomplished in his efforts, how would he measure up to the other vampires from the Castlevania series and beyond?
10 Can Defeat: Vampire Knight's Yuuki Cross Is Not Powerful Enough To Stop Trevor

Despite Yuuki Cross being a scythe-wielding Pureblood vampire, she is pretty physically weak. Throughout Vampire Knight, she is constantly overpowered, and, though she can maneuver in a supernaturally athletic way at times, she would never be able to keep up with Trevor Belmont. She has neither the fortitude nor the skill.
Trevor is not only well versed in fighting vampires, but he is also an expert, and he carries weapons that would utterly destroy any low-level vampires he came across. Even with backup, Yuuki would be hard-pressed to stand a chance against a Belmont.
9 Cannot Defeat: Castlevania's Alucard Could Out-Pace, Out-Magic, and Out-Fight Him

Luckily, Alucard and Trevor were on the same side during the Dracula arc. However, if these two were to go head-to-head, Trevor would probably get crushed. Not only does Alucard have the physical benefits of a vampiric lineage, but he also has magical abilities and is a skilled combatant with a sword.
Though Trevor would no doubt put up a great fight against Alucard, his Morning Star a formidable weapon in the hands of a Belmont, Alucard is just too fast, too strong, and too skilled for Trevor to keep up with for too long. He would need help to stand a chance.
8 Can Defeat: Anzai of Devil's Line Can't Hold A Candle To Trevors Martial Prowess

Anzai has been beaten enough times in his show to be considered able to fight with Trevor Belmont. Even with firearms and vampiric strength and speed, Trevor would win, hands down. Anzai barely understands himself as a person with vampiric lineage, while Trevor is an expert. Plus any physical feats Anzai's nature affords him are equally matched by Trevor's simple training.
Even if Anzai were to uncover the secrets about who he is and finally embrace his nature to unlock his full potential and have access to modern weaponry, Trevor would likely wipe the floor with him.
7 Cannot Defeat: Without A Stand, He Can't Hope To Touch Dio Brando from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

If both Jonathan, Joseph, and Jotaro Joestar could not match with Dio even with help, there is little chance that Trevor could compete. Not only was Dio a villain able to come back again and again, but he also has both vampiric powers and the power of a Stand.
Not to mention, Dio's Stand is incredibly powerful, as it can stop time for a moment, and he can mind control others to fight for him. In the end, Dio would outmatch Trevor in strength, skill, and constitution.
6 Can Defeat: Tatsumi From Shiki Can Walk In Sunlight, But Cannot Beat Trevor

The only thing that might give Tatsumi from acclaimed horror anime Shiki the edge in a fight against Trevor Belmont is the fact that he does not necessarily give off the appearance of being a vampire as long as he is not seen drinking blood. He can walk in sunlight, and he does not show signs of vampiric powers if he abstains from blood-drinking. Essentially, he would have the element of surprise.
However, Trevor is rarely surprised, and all the blood in the world would not give Tatsumi enough power to match Trevor's capability and experience.
5 Cannot Defeat: Alucard from Hellsing Would Also Prove Too Much For Trevor

While a lot of what makes Hellsing's Alucard so terrifying is his bloodlust and cruelty, Trevor is no stranger to either of those, and, thus, he would not be as frightened or shocked as many would be. Alucard likes to play mind games and terrify his enemies with sickening acts of violence. Trevor's ability to endure this intimidation is helpful, but it would not do a lot to kill Alucard.
He can become untouchable, he can regenerate with ease, and he can manipulate blood. Once Trevor is hit, it will be hard for him to recover. Plus, Alucard will just keep getting back up.
4 Can Defeat: Zero From Vampire Knight Stands No Chance

Zero Kiryu, like Trevor Belmont, is a vampire hunter. However, unlike Trevor, he is used by those he hunts. Zero carries a gun, the Bloody Rose, that can be merged with his body at the expense of his lifeblood.
Trevor, however, does not have to rely on such dangerous weapons, and he could easily outmatch Zero's shooting and physical skills with his own. While Zero would stand more of a chance than Yuuki Cross, it is hard to imagine him beating a grizzled and seasoned vampire hunter like Trevor.
3 Cannot Defeat: Castlevania's Dracula Could Have Destroyed Trevor One-On-One

There was a reason Alucard and Sypha had to team up with Trevor to kill Dracula, and it is because Trevor could kill him single-handedly. Dracula was a vampire feared and revered by humans, wizards, and vampires alike. No one dared defy him overtly.
In a more direct match, there is a strong possibility that even all three together would have been defeated if Dracula had not been awoken to the reality of his fighting his son.
2 Can Defeat: Castlevania's Lenore Can Manipulate, But It Is Doubtful That Trevor Would Fall For It

Lenore should not be easily counted out, as her propensity for manipulation was impressive. Furthermore, like any vampire from the Castlevania universe, she has extreme physical and combative power, great wisdom, and loads of experience. Also, like many vampire myths, she can turn into a cloud of mist or bats, making her hard to hit.
However, Lenore would struggle in one-on-one combat with a Belmont wielding the Morning Star. Though it might take a while, eventually, Trevor would likely take the victory.
1 Cannot Defeat: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's Ultimate Lifeform Kars Is Unkillable

Kars' nature as a vampire may be a bit questionable, but he has an aversion to sunlight, wields supernatural powers, and can turn others like Dio into vampires. Even Joseph Joestar could not kill Kars at his prime. Even "Ultimate Lifeform" was in his title. In the end, the JoJo's protagonists had to settle for launching Kars into space.
While it is certainly feasible that Trevor could find some way to seal Kars or render him dormant, it is hard to see him besting Kars in a combat setting. For that matter, it is hard to see anyone best Kars in combat.
