As the Armored Titan, Reiner was one of the strongest characters in Attack on Titan and ended up being in a lot of fights because of it. Even before he was introduced as a soldier in the 104th Cadet Corps, he fought in a lot of battles.
When he was a child, Reiner also got into a lot of arguments with those around him, which resulted in him fighting without using any of the powers he received by inheriting the Armored Titan. These are the first ten fights he was ever in from the manga since he tried to become a warrior candidate.
10 Annie Sparred With Reiner To Become A Warrior Candidate
When Reiner was a child, his dream was to become a warrior so that his family would be proud of him and that the Marleyans would see him as a hero. However, it took a lot of hard work for him to even be considered worthy to inherit the Armored Titan. During his training to become a warrior candidate, he had to spar against Annie, who proved to be stronger than him. This resulted in her becoming a warrior candidate while Reiner had to keep working hard. He eventually proved himself in the written test due to his loyalty to his nation.
9 He Got Into A Fight With Porco
Though Reiner became a warrior candidate, it still wasn't expected that he would actually get to inherit one of the titans. Porco would point this out as he always considered Reiner to be the weakest in the group, leading the two of them to constantly argue with each other. One time, things went so far that Reiner grabbed onto Porco's arm and accused him of being a traitor for not acting as loyal as him. This caused Porco to push him to the ground. Before the fight could escalate, Marcel held Porco back and Bertholdt comforted Reiner.
8 Reiner And The Other Warriors Destroyed A Nation
After it was decided that Reiner, Bertholdt, Annie, Marcel, Pieck, and Zeke would inherit the Armored, Colossal, Female, Jaw, Cart, and Beast Titans, Marley had the newest warriors attack an enemy nation. During the battle, Reiner proved to be a great shield that could block attacks. It was also determined that he could easily break through walls, which ended up being very useful when invading Paradis.
7 Annie Beat Him Up When They Got To Paradis
After Reiner, Annie, Bertholdt, and Marcel went to Paradis, the Jaw Titan was stolen by Ymir. Upon seeing Marcel get eaten, his comrades ran away, which led to Reiner and Annie arguing over what to do.
While she wanted to try to find Ymir and return to Marley, he thought that it was best to continue their mission, especially since he didn't want to be held responsible for what had happened. She beat him up until he tackled her and told her that he would become just like Marcel if it meant they would continue their mission, which they did.
6 Reiner Sparred With Eren And Annie During Training
A couple of years later, Reiner, Annie, and Bertholdt joined the 104th Cadet Corps, pretending to be soldiers so they could join the Military Police. One of their new friends they made there was Eren, who often sparred with Reiner and Annie. When Reiner and Eren were practicing how to steal another human enemy's weapon, they noticed that Annie wasn't training. Reiner had her take Eren's knife from him, though she did so using her own technique. After beating Eren, she took Reiner down as well.
5 Reiner And His Friends Killed A Group Of Titans Together
When the 104th Cadet Corps graduated and went to Trost, Bertholdt used his Colossal Titan to let titans into the district. He, Reiner, and Annie continued to pretend to be soldiers, helping their comrades fight against the titans. In order to kill seven of them, Armin came up with a plan that they helped him with. The three of them, along with Mikasa, Sasha, Connie, and Jean attacked the titans from above after their other comrades brought them all into one area. The goal was to kill all seven at the same time, but because Connie and Sasha failed, Mikasa and Annie had to save them.
4 Reiner Fed Marco To A Titan
Shortly after, Reiner and Bertholdt had a conversation in which they mentioned their Armored and Colossal Titans. Unfortunately, Marco overheard them and began to figure out who they were, causing Reiner to feel like he had to kill him.
He grabbed onto Marco and held him down. Annie saw them and asked what was going on. When Reiner told her that Marco heard them, she was very upset, especially when Reiner practically forced her to help him take Marco's gear off because she saved Connie's life. As they watched Marco get eaten by a titan, Reiner's mentality shifted to the part of him that fell for his act as a soldier, causing him to wonder why Marco was being devoured.
3 Reiner Pretended To Fight Annie So He Could Tell Her Where Eren Was
After learning that Eren was a titan shifter, Reiner and Bertholdt decided to join the Survey Corps, while Annie followed through on their original plan by becoming a member of the Military Police. One day, Annie snuck away from the Military Police and attacked the Survey Corps when they were on a mission. Her goal was to find Eren, but she didn't know where he was. Armin believed that he knew Eren's location and told Reiner his thoughts, who then fought against the Female Titan. While it seemed like a real battle at the time, he secretly carved Eren's location into Annie's hand so she could find him.
2 Reiner And His Friends Fought The Titans At Utgard Castle
Because of how long it had been since Reiner and his comrades had gone to Paradis, Marley decided to bring Zeke and Pieck over there as well. When they arrived, Zeke turned the citizens of Ragako into titans and used them to fight the Survey Corps. Trying to figure out what was going on and save as many people as they could led Reiner, Bertholdt, Historia, Connie, and Ymir to go to Utgard Castle, which Zeke attacked, not knowing that his old friends were there. Reiner and the other soldiers fought against the titans as they attacked the castle and nearly died. However, because Ymir revealed that she was the Jaw Titan and protected them as well as other soldiers coming to the rescue, they survived.
1 Reiner Fought Eren And Mikasa When He Revealed His Identity
Due to everything that happened to him, from pretending to be like Marcel to falling for his own act as a Survey Corps soldier, Reiner began to lose his mind and thought that he could trust Eren. He told him that he was the Armored Titan and that Bertholdt was the Colossal Titan, hoping that Eren would go to Marley with them. When he refused, Reiner prepared to transform, causing Mikasa to attack him and Bertholdt. However, she wasn't able to kill him and they turned into their titans. Eren transformed as well and fought Reiner. With Bertholdt's help, Reiner won the fight and they captured both Eren and Ymir. But this was just the first of many battles between Eren and Reiner.
