Hey there! This is your breakdown of what issues from DC Comics will be hitting the shelves of your local comic shop and releasing digitally on Oct. 19, 2021.
If you have ever wanted to jump into the world of DC but were hesitant to based on not knowing what to read or what was coming out, than this was made for you. We will be listing the solicitations revealed back in July 2021, but including only the issues slated to drop on this upcoming Tuesday. To get a brief overview of everything, please read on!
Batman's Fear State event continues to stretch across books related to the caped crusader and other members of the Bat Family. Batman #115 features a team-up between Batman and Miracle Molly against the forces of the Magistrate, Barbara Gordon suits up as Batgirl once again to take on the Anti-Oracle alongside Dick Grayson in Nightwing #85, the Gotham City Sirens reunite in Catwoman #36 and Peacekeeper-01 (not to be confused with John Cena's Peacemaker) gets his own one-shot with Batman Secret Files: Peacekeeper-01 #1. Other Gotham City-related titles will include Batman/Catwoman #8, Legends of the Dark Knight #6, Catwoman: Lonely City #1 and Batman vs. Bigby! A Wolf in Gotham #2.
Outside of Gotham, there are numerous other books to pick up as well. For Wonder Woman fans, Nubia and the Amazons kicks off with its first issue, while Wonder Woman Special Edition #1 books will also be available to pick up. Getting aquatic, both the Black Manta and King Shark solo series get their second printed issue, with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang having to face off against the "Ghoulie from the Green Lagoon." Other titles available to purchase this week from DC Comics include Superman: Son of Kal-El #4, The Flash #775, Suicide Squad #8, Green Lantern #7, Shazam! #4 and Refrigerator Full of Heads #1.
