10 Mister Sinister Mastered Genetics And Made Himself Into A Mutant

Before he came to the attention of the mutant known as ApocalypseMister Sinister was 19th-century geneticist Nathaniel Essex. After Apocalypse introduces Essex to the concept of the X-gene, he undertakes years of wild experimentation with his newfound knowledge, working feverishly to modify his genome.

By the time he was done, he'd created scores of Sinister with different abilities, but only one that was considered a mutant. This killed the old leader and took over, culling the rest. 9 Tony Stark Creating The First Iron Man Armor Is Still His Most Impressive Feat

Tony Stark is an undisputed genius, but just imagine being him and making the first Iron Man armor. He was almost mortally wounded, under constant surveillance, and only had access to primitive tools and supplies. Not only was Tony able to create a powerful suit of armor, he made a high-tech power source that incidentally saved his life.

At that point in his life, Tony Stark was a pampered rich genius used to working with the best equipment in easy circumstances. The fact that he was able to create the first Iron Man armor while on death's door and surrounded by people who wanted to kill him is impressive. The hard work that it took is unprecedented.

4 Spider-Man's Entire Life Has Been About Working Hard

Spider-Man has been through a lot of changes, but one thing that never changed was his work ethic. Sure, he was a smart kid, but Peter Parker was never afraid of hard work. He created his web-shooters and formula through effort and perseverance while holding down various jobs to make money for his aunt.

Peter also worked hard as a hero, throwing himself into situations that should have killed him. Spider-Man is defined by how hard he works. He may have some natural skills, but what makes them work so well is his work ethic. Spider-Man's whole life is about working harder and harder in order to survive.

3 Black Panther Worked Hard To Keep Wakanda Powerful

One can look at Black Panther and say his natural talent & what he inherited as king of Wakanda made him into who he is, but that would be a complete misunderstanding. T'Challa was born with every advantage, including a natural genius, but that didn't make him who he is.

Even with his powers, Wolverine was a weakling. However, he worked hard in a Canadian frontier town, building muscle and skill. Years later, he mastered multiple fighting disciplines and weapons before becoming a soldier and black ops operator. He beat his own anger and the programming of Weapon X to become a hero that constantly fights the animal inside him. As a result, Wolverine is entirely defined by his hard work.

1 Captain America Is All Hard Work

Captain America is Marvel's most inspiring hero, and it's all because of his work ethic. Captain America was born with no natural advantages; he was the definition of the 98-pound weakling. He had to work hard for everything he had in the Great Depression of New York City, and even after becoming Captain America, he still had to work hard and train.

Captain America wasn't bulletproof. He had to master his shield and acrobatics, learn how to fight, and study tactics. Cap didn't survive WWII for so long because of his natural skill; it was all because of his hard work training.
