Every Jackbox Party Pack, Ranked From Worst To Best | CBR

Jackbox Party Packs are easily some of the best party games out there. This company has been making brilliant party games for well over twenty years now. They know what they are doing. Every pack is brilliant. In fact, ranking them next to one another is an almost unbearable task considering each game has at a minimum 89% approval rating on Steam. However, if gamers only have the time or money for one of the packs, it's worth knowing which pack is truly the best out of the bunch.

When it comes to parties, gamers want to make sure they are bringing the best Jackbox Party Packs that will make the party a blast and truly blow away friends and family. Not literally, of course, unless you're playing Bomb Corp in the second pack.

8 Eighth Is Not The Gr(Eight)est - Jackbox Party Pack 8

Unfortunately, Jackbox Party Pack 8, the latest of the series, is solidly lackluster. Not because it's bad, but rather because it simply pales in comparison to some of the earlier heights of Jackbox.

"Job Job" is the highlight on this pack, although gamers might find themselves better enjoying "Survive the Internet" or "Quiplash" on a different pack with a better selection of games.

7 First Is (One Of) The Worst - Jackbox Party Pack 1

As they say, first is the worst, and until the eighth game, this was true. The first party pack is almost a "test" of sorts. Jackbox had still not perfected the system the games rely on with mobile phones connected to a server as controllers.

A lot of the games feel samey and simple. In fact, one "You Don't Know Jack" is just a rerelease. Gamers will find themselves better off playing some hits like "Drawful," "Fibbage," and "You Don't Know Jack" in other editions.

6 A Few Solids Mixed With Duds - Jackbox Party Pack 4

The fourth pack has solid entries scattered about. As already mentioned, "Fibbage" is simply a classic and is in its best form in "Fibbage 3," with the introduction of "Fibbage: Enough About You" changing up the formula. Furthermore, for the roasters out there, "Survive the Internet" can truly tear apart friendships and guts from roaring laughter.

The other games in the pack, though, simply lack the charm of these two games. While the dating sim "Monster Seeking Monster" and "Civic Doodle" are fun, gamers will rarely find themselves coming back too often. And "Bracketerring" is as good as a one and done.

5 In The Middle - Jackbox Party Pack 6

Jackbox Party Pack 6 is alright, but not much more. Overall, Party Pack 6 and Party Pack 5 are hard to place because neither are bad, but neither are great. They're decidedly average.

"Trivia Murder Party" is always a blast, and with friends, "Role Models" will be hilarious. However, the pack overall feels like it's lacking some of the charms of other packs, and "Push the Button" is basically just Among Us but without the charm and maps.

4 Average, But Solid - Jackbox Party Pack 5

Again, Jackbox Party Pack 6 and 5 are both overall pretty decent, but not amazing. However, Jackbox Party Pack 5 is altogether the better of the two if players ignore "Zeeple Dome." "Split the Room" leads to hilarious dilemmas, and "You Don't Know Jack 2" is the perfection of over 20 years of iterations of the game.

And while "Patently Stupid" is long, it's extremely funny if the player's friends happen to be business majors. Also, who doesn't love giant rapping anime-style robots in "Mad Verse City"?

3 Nothing But Wordy Laughter - Jackbox Party Pack 2

While Jackbox Party Pack 2 lacks any trivia, this pack shows how much laughter can fit in a pack. "Fibbage 2" and "Quiplash XL" are solid word games, while "Bidiots" is a surprisingly tense drawing game.

For those who simply find everything funny, "Earwax" has the dumbest sounds to make anyone chuckle. Just avoid "Bomb Corp" unless players communicate really well with friends or don't mind losing a few after it is over.

2 A Perfect Mix Of Games - Jackbox Party Pack 3

Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a perfect mix of games. The deadly quiz show "Trivia Murder Party," the perfect follow-up to "Quiplash," and arguably the best game "Tee K.O." are all featured on this pack.

Even the less stellar games "Fakin' It" and "Guesspionage" are still entertaining enough to complement the pack. However, the first three mentioned are just so solid overall that gamers will find hundreds of hours being dropped into just those.

1 The Undisputed Champion of Jackbox - Jackbox Party Park 7

There is not a single dud game on Jackbox Party Pack 7. After seven iterations, Jackbox finally managed to create what gamers everywhere consider to be the best pack.

From the already stellar "Quiplash" being perfected to "Champ'd Up" as a competitor to arguably one of the best games, "Tee K.O.," Jackbox Party Pack 7 is how a party is made.
