Usopp is a member of the Straw Hat Pirates and one of the main characters in Eiichiro Oda's One Piece. After Zoro and Nami, Usopp was the next person to join Luffy's crew in East Blue, making him one of the core characters in the story.
With the dream of becoming a brave warrior of the sea, Usopp set out to achieve greatness, and he has since then accomplished quite a lot of amazing things in his pirate life, even though he comes off as a coward at times.
10 Usopp Created The Usopp Pirates In Syrup Village
Usopp dreamed of becoming a pirate ever since he was a kid, and this has much to do with the fact that Yasopp, his father, is a pirate as well. Usopp dared to dream the same dream as him and eventually created the Usopp Pirates in Syrup Village. While the crew wasn't particularly impressive and it certainly didn't have any reputation, it was very brave for Usopp to follow his dream, and it acted as a declaration of his goals, which was an extremely important step in his growth.
9 Usopp Saved Syrup Village From The Black Cats Pirates
Being a prankster in his village, not many people respected Usopp's word. When Captain Kuro planned to attack the village, it was Usopp who stood up against it and warned everyone. When the villagers didn't listen to him, he resolved to do something by himself despite knowing that he wasn't powerful enough to defeat Captain Kuro. Usopp's bravery shone and he eventually succeeded in saving the village, which is quite an achievement.
8 Usopp Gained A Bounty Of 30 Million Berries
The very first bounty that Usopp received was after the events of the Enies Lobby arc. Following the fall of CP9 and the destruction of the judicial island, every member of the Straw Hat Pirates got a bounty. Usopp's first bounty was marked at 30 million berries, which is extremely impressive and was just as high as Luffy's first bounty. From here onwards, his bounty only got higher the more he fought.
7 Usopp Sniped Spandam And Saved Robin
The Enies Lobby arc might not have given Usopp a big fight, but he received one of the most important jobs in the entire arc. His job was to stop Spandam from taking Robin through the Gates of Justice, and he succeeded in doing that by sniping Spandam from the Tower of Law.
Usopp's incredible marksmanship saved Robin and helped Franky step in. Without him, Nico Robin would certainly have been captured.
6 Usopp Gained Incredible Knowledge Of Pop Green
During the two-year timeskip, every single Straw Hat was sent by Kuma to a different location to improve their skills and get better. Usopp landed on Boin Island, where he was trained by Heracles. Under his training, Usopp got much stronger, and most importantly, added Pop Green to his arsenal of weapons. By studying it thoroughly, Usopp finally became a capable fighter and accomplished a big portion of his dream.
5 Usopp Sniped Sugar From Miles Away On Dressrosa
During the Dressrosa arc, Usopp showed how important he truly was to the crew once again when he saved Luffy and Law from Sugar's powers. Had Sugar made contact with the two, they would've turned into toys, but thanks to Usopp, this catastrophe was prevented. By tapping into his incredible skill as a sniper, Usopp gauged everything to perfection and sniped Sugar from miles away. He even awakened a new power while doing so.
4 Usopp Unlocked Observation Haki In The Dressrosa Arc
To take Sugar down, Usopp had to use every ounce of his skill, and even then, the job was a difficult one. Through sheer concentration, Usopp was able to awaken Observation Haki while taking aim at Sugar.
This helped him see her aura even though she was miles away from him. That, when combined with his skill as a sniper, allowed him to save the day. Unlocking Observation Haki was a huge step forward for Usopp and greatly leveled-up his sniping abilities.
3 Usopp Gained A Staggering Bounty Of 200 Million
Following the fall of Donquixote Doflamingo, the Straw Hat Pirates got their first big bounty increase after the timeskip, and Usopp was no exception to this raise in bounty. Having been given 5 stars by Doflamingo on his wanted list, his bounty turned out to be quite high. He gained a bounty of 200 million which, at the time, put him behind only Zoro and Luffy. Whether Usopp was worthy of this bounty or not remains to be seen, but he certainly deserved a big raise on the price on his head either way
2 Usopp Created The Perfect Climatact For Nami
On Zou, Usopp gifted the perfect Climatact to Nami, with which she could unlock the true powers of the science that she studied on Weatheria. Usopp's engineering skills often go unnoticed, but he's quite skilled. In fact, Sanji even wanted him to modify his Raid Suit for him, which just goes to show that he is held in high regard. Currently, crafting the perfect Climatact for Nami is the epitome of his skill as an engineer and it is quite an accomplishment for anyone.
1 Usopp Played A Role In Ulti's Defeat On Onigashima
On Onigashima, the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies declared war on the Beasts Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates. Nearly every member of the crew got their own fights and Usopp, along with Nami, fought Page One and Ulti. The former was eventually taken down by Yonko Charlotte Linlin but to defeat a weakened Ulti, Usopp and Nami had to combine their strength. Usopp made use of his pop green to help Nami strike Ulti down with Zeus' power.
