Pixar Popcorn Trailer Teases Upcoming Disney+ Shorts | CBR

A new trailer for Pixar Popcorn has premiered online.

The trailer promises a collection of short films featuring characters from across Pixar's various films. Among the characters shown are Jack-Jack from The Incredibles, as well as Ducky and Bunny from Toy Story 4. Even Pixar's newest film Soul is highlighted.

Dancing with the Cars and Unparalleled Parking are set in the world of Cars, while Dory Finding and A Day in the Life of the Dead take place in the worlds of Finding Nemo and Coco, respectively. Cookie Num Num and Chore Day: The Incredibles Way focus on The Incredibles, while To Fitness and Beyond and Fluffy Stuff with Ducky & Bunny are set in the world of Toy Story. Rounding out the collection of films is Soul of the City, which is set in the same universe as Soul.

Pixar Popcorn was announced during Disney Investor Day 2020. The series joins a number of projects Pixar has planned, including Lightyear, an origin story for the human Buzz Lightyear that the toy is based on. Pixar previously launched the television series Forky Asks A Question on Disney+, with Forky from Toy Story 4 asking questions about things like time and love.

Pixar Popcorn will be available to stream on Disney+ starting Jan. 22, 2021.
