Royal Rumble: Bad Bunny Performs 'Booker T' With... Booker T

At tonight's WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny performed his hit song "Booker T" -- and was joined on stage by none other than WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T.

Surrounded by Bad Bunny graphics, the rapper sang "Booker T" to help kick off the 2021 Royal Rumble at the WWE ThunderDome, which is currently hosted at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. During the performance, Booker T himself (real name Robert Booker Tio Huffman) stood silent at center stage with his arms crossed. Bad Bunny then handed the microphone to Booker T, at which point the five-time WCW Champion delivered his classic catch phrase, "Can you dig it, sucka?" -- which was followed by pyrotechnics.

Bad Bunny released "Booker T" late last year as part of his latest studio album, El Último Tour del Mundo. In the song, Bad Bunny likens his own success to that of the professional wrestler it's named after. Early this month, Bad Bunny released the official music video for "Booker T," which also features an appearance by the man himself. Like the Royal Rumble performance, the music video shows Bad Bunny performing while Booker T stands silently.

Booker T made his professional wrestling debut in 1989, and began performing for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) alongside his brother Stevie Ray (real name Lash Huffman) as part of the Harlem Heat tag team in 1993. Booker went on to become a multi-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and was even the last person to hold the title before it was absorbed by WWE (then WWF), winning the strap on the final episode of WCW Monday Nitro in 2001.

Booker T joined WWE's roster after the company's acquisition of WCW. During his time in the company, he won the WCW Championship for the fifth and final time. He then went on to become WWE's eighth Grand Slam Champion, having held the World Heavyweight Championship, the World Tag Team Championship, the Intercontinental Championship and the Hardcore Championship. He was also a United States Champion and the 2006 King of the Ring winner. During a stint with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (now Impact Wrestling), Booker became the promotion's inaugural Legends Champion. Booker T was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 as a singles performer, before being inducted again in 2019 as part of Harlem Heat.
