10 Dragon Ball Characters With The Most Kills | CBR

In the world of Dragon Ball Z, fans are constantly witnessing characters strong enough to wipe out planets if they want.  But that never happens, especially since the series has taken place on Earth and aside from one or two times, it's survived all these insane fights the villains put it through.

But that doesn't mean characters all have their hands clean. Dragon Ball Z is a franchise full of beings who have been around for centuries, and have immense levels of power, despite the viewers not getting to see it. People might believe the characters who have the highest kill counts are simply those who have wiped out a bunch of enemy armies... but for these characters, destruction starts at cities and works its way up.

10  Androids 17 & 18 Attacked Trunks' Era For Over A Decade

If there’s one group that gets forgotten when discussing beings that have high kill counts it’s the Androids. Trunks’ timeline was terrorized for several years by the Androids merely riding around and blowing up anything they saw. They started out by killing the Z Fighters and then proceeded to make everything else their playground.

This is rarely seen in the main television show, and even when the viewer is shown the characters it’s mostly just Trunks coming back and easily killing them. But make no mistake: during their era, these were two of the most deadly characters in all of Dragon Ball Z.

9 Cell Absorbed Multiple Cities To Regain His Power

Surprisingly, Cell has one of the lower body counts compared to everyone else on this list. The character traveled to Goku and the other’s time where he would finally be able to absorb the Androids and get his perfect form. But when he got there, much of his energy was gone and so he had to build it back up.

The character did so by absorbing entire cities full of people, killing millions in order to bring his power level up high enough to reach his Perfect Form.

8 King Piccolo Had Several Centuries To Destroy Society

King Piccolo was alive for centuries and was essentially allowed to go free on Earth without Kami doing anything. Without Kami to intervene, Piccolo was able to attack cities and destroy them, terrifying Earth for years without anyone doing anything about it.

The only person able to stop him was Master Mutaito, the man who trained Master Roshi. Upon breaking out he immediately started laying waste to the rest of Earth all over again, wiping out everyone at the World Martial Arts tournament.

7 Vegeta Destroyed Planet Arlia & Spent Decades Working For Frieza

Without the anime, it’s difficult to say Vegeta belongs among many of these characters. But since Dragon Ball Super has effectively made most of Z’s filler canon, Vegeta’s time on Planet Arlia cannot be overlooked.

There, Vegeta had no problem simply obliterating the entire planet when it got on his nerves. Then later on the character tore his way through several Namekian villages, and also attacked a small crowd during the Buu Saga to force Goku to fight him.

6 Frieza Had A Galactic Empire But Also Blew Up Planets If He Got Bored By Them

Frieza is one of the few people that has a high kill count without being alive for millions of years. The character inherited a massive empire, only to continue expanding it over time. By the time he’s reached the Planet Namek, Frieza has already gained control over 70 percent of the universe.

The character has a habit of blowing up planets whenever they displease him and has obliterated multiple, including the home of the Saiyans.

5 Majin Buu Blew Up Multiple Planets & Killed Several Supreme Kai

Majin Buu is another character that’s been around for millions upon millions of years. Five million years before Dragon Ball Z, the character goes around blowing up countless planets, including Planet Alpha while his controller Bibidi was still on the planet.

Buu would also get into a battle against the Supreme Kais, and defeat two of them before absorbing a third and a fourth. His first act after being freed from the Grand Supreme Kai was to literally destroy all life on Earth, and upon becoming Kid Buu he blew up the planet.

4 Zamasu Tried To Eradicate All Sentient Life In His Era

Perhaps one of the biggest killers that go unnoticed. Zamasu has his Zero Mortals Plan that involves him wiping out all of the Supreme Kais, then wiping out multiple other planets in different universes.

Finally, out of sheer pettiness, he attacked Trunks’ Earth, killing the humans on it. His eventual plan was to wipe out all sentient life, seemingly out of the fear that any one being could surpass him.

3 Beerus Serves As The God of Destruction & Destroys Planets On A Whim

Like it or not, Beerus’ entire goal is to destroy. In the Dragon Ball universe, Beerus is the other half of the Supreme Kai. The character spends entire decades asleep, then when he wakes up begins laying waste to planets indiscriminately.

It’s meant to be a very serious job, but Beerus doesn’t take the job seriously at all. Instead, he just blows up any planet that gets in his way, even those that are deemed important by the Supreme Kai.

2 Moro Was Known For Eating Planets

Moro is millions of years old and was sealed off for several millions of years due to his actions. The character gained the ability to consume all life and make it into his own energy, which turned him into an unrepentant animal.

He destroyed the Iragi Star System which brought an end to life on 320 planets, but that’s not counting what happened when he was freed again. He brought an end to multiple planets to increase his energy.

1 Zen-Oh Has Erased Multiple Universes In The Series

Like it or not, Zen-Oh has the most kills of any character in all of Dragon Ball. Even before the series begins, the character has erased six different universes, full of more people than can even be reasonably counted.

That’s not counting his actions during the Tournament of Power, where he systematically erases seven of the eight participating universes. While those characters were brought back, that was only because Android 17 wished them back. Zen Oh’s plan was to erase all universes if the right wish wasn’t made.
