The eerie covers of the popular Goosebumps book series from original cover artist Tim Jacobus will take center stage in a new book from Dynamite Entertainment entitled Beware: The Art of Goosebumps, featuring Jacobus' artwork that caught the eyes of readers and drew them into franchise creator R.L. Stine's spooky stories.
As revealed by the Tweets to Give You Goosebumps Twitter account, the book will feature "tons of fun facts" about Goosebumps, in addition to "a walkthrough of all books and covers in the Goosebumps collections." A cover for the book can be seen below, though it should be noted that this is not the final cover.
Since it was first launched in July 1992, Goosebumps has been one of the world's most popular media franchises. Over the years, it has spawned numerous forms of spinoff media, such as a TV series, toys and two live-action films starring Jack Black as the author Stine, respectively released in 2015 and 2018. A new TV series was also announced to be in development last year.
Featuring the artwork of Tim Jacobus, Beware: The Art of Goosebumps will be written by Sarah Rodriguez and published by Dynamite Entertainment. The book will release on April 20, 2021.
